Wide choice of dishes! Great food, great service! Update - bad service - stopped in for labor day (2023) breakfast and found the restaurant to be very busy! I think the owner and staff were surprised by the amount of people. However we were seated without a wait. We were given our menus. The waitress went to get out coffees coming back straight away and asked what do you want? We asked for a minute and were given about 55 seconds when she returned asking "what do you want?" We felt forced and ordered two skillets, we didn't mind waiting because we knew there was a rush. We had 2 coffee refills before our food arrived. The skillets were served without words and the waitress left without words. We were amazed. We came to find the food was luke warm to medium warm, but cooked, the skillet plates weren't even warm. The waitress didn't return. The check was dropped off by someone else. This may have been an anomaly?

This is our second try at this restaurant. Our first was May 29 when the dining room was full and service was very slow. We had grandkids then and our server was busy. The food was okay on this visit. Today, Saturday we arrived at 9:43 AM we did not receive water service for ten minutes and then, after our server took a stroll around the half full dining room with coffee, she come back for our order. There were three or four servers and a full cook staff. My sweet potato pancakes were burnt black by the time they arrived. My husbands pancake breakfast was cold. My daughters classic breakfast was cold. Our friends eggs Benedict was Luke warm and tasteless. All In all, as a former server I believe in fair wage for service workers, so I left a good tip. Not for good service, rather in hopes she will do better. We will not be back. Twice is quite enough.

New Owner & Kitchen Manager … “Delta level” quality has returned. Note: I do not, in any way, receive discounts, freebies or “perks” for a review. In no way am I a “food snob”, but my “go to” for many years has always been a BLT. I've had good, bad and really ugly. A very generous and very nicely staged BLT. Of course, it’s all about the bacon. Very nice smokey flavor, but a very “well balanced” BLT. No single ingredient stood out or begged for attention. Also, a lifelong fan of onion rings. Very nice taste and texture. It’s very easy to ruin onion rings. Overcooked with a hard unpleasant “old oil” taste. I had an opportunity to speak with the chef/KM and they filter/change the fryer oil every night. Very pleasant and attentive server. If you’ve had an unpleasant experience at Delta, might I suggest a second chance? I’m very happy I did.

I can't get over how poor the Owner of this place is and rude. I went in there two night to eat and I could not get over how bad it the place has gotten at night. I went in there tonight with two of my Clients to have a good meal seeing we go there all the time in the AM and have the best waiter in the world that knows us and works his butt off for us each and every time. Well to night we walk in and the owner is up front rolling silverware and talking. We are seated and we gave our drink order and then a waiter came over and re asked us for a drink order. We order our food and then why we are waiting I had to have the waiter for one of the guys soup and I could see a cross the place a table was upset that they got their food and never got their salads I was like wow this place in not the place to come to at night time. As the waiter was taking our order he said I do not know if that came with soup or salad and I was like yes and it comes with ff HB or Bake. You should not have to tell the waiter that. I ordered the kids St pancakes and I pointed to it like I always do seeing I was a trainer for 18 years. Then when the food came and he put down the ST pancakes I was like this is really the kids pancakes and he said to me we really don't have kids pancakes I was like that is what I just ordered. So then I had to stop him and asked him for about ten things that should of been on the plate. Then when the bill came I looked at it and I seen that pancakes should of been 3.99 but wait they were 7.79 and I looked at the waiter and said no I ordered the kids pancakes. I asked him to change the bill. So then the owner came over and said how old is he. Like I was going to tell her that and I said he is not a kid I just order the kids pancakes seeing he cant eat all the much and she looked at me and said you know he ate then all she don't know he ate then all I helped him seeing he got a full order. I said to her no he is not 12 but I am not trying to get something for free I just wanted what I order and she was rude and nasty to us. I jot upset and I told her never mind do not change the bill we will not come back here any more and she just walked a way. So when we went up to pay she walks by and said to me you do not need to come back here then . I looked at her and said are you the new owners and she looked at me and said I have always owned this place and I told her if you ask any one of your day staff about me you would know we come in here all the time with our clients and never had to deal with anything like this before so she said to me well you were the one that got all upset. I told her were came off as rude and nasty to us asking his age come on now he has a five o clock shadow like I am trying to pass him off for 12 and under. I told here right there in front of the waiter I asked for the kids st pancake seeing he cant eat that much food and when he came back with them I asked right there is this the kids pancakes and he said we really don't have them. Then she changed her tone with me and said is this what he said to you and he said yes. She changed the bill and said I'm sorry. We did leave the waiter 8.00 tip seeing he was new and she as the owner should be over seeing him and all she wanted to do is sit there and talk. I cant get over how a owner that is failing could be rude to some one that is in there to eat. I have to say I do not think we will be back anytime...

Food was blah. Nothing to impress and I'm not hard to impress!

My wife's eggs benedict was overcooked, ham slices didn't even cover half the muffin, and the whole thing was drowning in packet made sauce that all you tasted was sour lemon flavor! gross!

This past weekend, a friend and I decided to try out Delta Restaurant for the first time. We were craving breakfast, so we thought that breakfast would be a good choice, especially considering its outward appearance of a "hometown diner."

When we looked at the menu, we found that they lacked some of the most basic breakfast foods typically found at diners (sausage biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak, etc.). Being an avid breakfast goer, I find that these "staple" items are easily found at nearly all diners, but not this one. We waited for approximately 8 minutes before our order was taken, despite the fact that we waited patiently and made direct eye contact with our waiter several times. We both ordered the Greek omelet, which ended up being more like an egg roll-up, with some gyro meat and feta cheese rolled between the layers. We also asked the waiter for a fruit plate, being that fruit is definitely in season right now. He told us that they didn't have any fruit plates that day, and it was only 10:30am, on a Saturday.

Lastly, while we were eating our breakfast, one of the employees walked in with a boxed Perkins pie, to be placed in their dessert display. I realize that companies don't always make everything from scratch, but I felt that walking into the restaurant, with the box in hand (and not being discrete by any means), was a bit tacky.

Needless to say, I will not be visiting Delta Restaurant again in the future. The mediocre food, slow-paced wait staff, and limited menu choices were enough to turn me away from another dining experience with...
