Northside Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Oshkosh

Ordered Take-Out tonite, which consisted of two cheeseburgers with fried onions and each with french fries. We live less than a mile away and order was ready just a few short minutes after arriving. Fast & fresh food.

Both cheeseburgers were a bit over done but flavor was still pretty good. One was ordered medium rare, received medium; the other cheeseburger was ordered medium, received medium well. I think they were each 1/3 lb. burger patties, bigger than a quarter lb patty.

Fried onions were charred on the edges but crunchy like raw onions on the inside. Not sure if that was intentional or an after thought. It was almost as if the fried onions (were forgotten) then done very quickly so the whole burger tasted a bit burnt, throwing the flavor of the entire sandwich off a bit.

Buns could have been a bit better if they had been grilled or toasted a little, but they were ok.

Fries were ok, but I'm picky with french fries; quantity/portion-size seemed a little on the skimpy size.

We will definitely try again and do recommend this place. This is really a tight critique, but I can be overly critical...

Stopped in to give it try, we have never been there but seen it on tv for some burger competition. The cheese curds were good, comparable to most and the price was fair. We ordered 2 burgers first one half pound med/rare second one 1/4 pound well done. The med/rare was well done. The well done was medium. The worst part is that we weren’t asked how our food was or why we weren’t eating it. We paid 14$ For my husband to have 2 bites of his burger and for me to eat the outer edge...

First time here. Mediocre overall. Fish fry was good fish not and crispy. Fries and coleslaw fine. -1 for poor beer selection no spotted cow or other Wisconsin Craft on tap. -1 For wrong order. as noted on another review - paid for AYCE which has rye bread and got no rye bread.
