Trailside Creamery and Pizza — Restaurant in Otsego Lake Township

Stopped in today w/ parents for a treat after our picnic. First impression was wonderful, the young lady taking our order was a delight. Ordered 2 shakes and a Malt. Got 2 of them, took it to my parents and waited for the 3rd. 2 other customers ordered and they received theirs. I still was waiting for mine. The young lady asked me if I needed something else and I stated I hadn't received my last shake . She said O, I'm sorry, turned and asked the older male and he yelled I'M WORKING ON IT. I was was shocked and the poor girls face was just as surprised as mine. I stated wow that was rude. He said excuse me , what did you say. I told him he was rude, that was wrong. "Well what do you want me to do when equipment isn't working right." (He stated) I told him not be rude and just explain what's going on. Maybe try being an adult and professional and just tell other employees and customer, I'm sorry it will be a min I'm having some issues. First time ever going there and probably will go someplace else when visiting family . Feel bad for the 2 girls and older female, having to work beside someone like that.

Thank you for your response and I get people have bad days, but at same time that is no excuse nor the explanation he gave me nor did he apologize or say sorry for the wait when he brought the shake out. Great ice cream, but terrible employee. Me and my family have been here a few times while enjoying weekends up north, and everytime there is a very rude younger woman. She doesn't listen to what you order because she turns around and will talk to others, and will then proceed to ask, "so what is it you wanted exactly? In an annoyed tone. Our cottage is right down the road so we walk up here EVERY time we are up and we all love this place! Yesterday, a sweet young dark hair girl at the desk (did not get her name but she deserves a shout out) had a pup cup ready for my dog when we got there and my pup was sooo excited and really loved that - we really appreciated that!
