McDonald's — Restaurant in Ottumwa

Was here earlier and really disappointed. Not trying to be rude... but things definitely need addressed. Took over 15 mins to get my food. It was just myself and a family member. She said the bathroom is so cold you could freeze water in there. Then I checked out my bathroom.. urinal is broken and has a bag over it. Toilet in my bathroom is also broken and full of urine and toilet paper. Couldn't sit where we wanted because most everything was closed off with trash cans. Next time I'm here and I see this I'll be moving the trash cans out of the way and sitting where I want to sit. Wasn't even 9pm yet. Then when I went to the counter to politely see what was going on with my order it took quite a while for someone to acknowledge my existence.. then I guess someone cleared the order off the screen so they were not even in the process of making my order at all until I went to the counter wondering why it wasn't done yet. Drive thru wasn't busy at all much less dine in. So not sure what the issue was. Seems to be lack of care/effort/motivation. Then when I got my orange juice it was pretty much warm. Like legit barely even cold. I'm including the pictures of the broken urinal, broken toilet/gross toilet and areas blocked off as proof. To management (if there is any): There is no reason for all this. If you can't fix these things in a timely fashion then give up your job to someone that will. This McDonald's has really turned itself around. I use to drive to the other side of town to a different McDonald's because of unprofessional staff, slow cold food and sticky floors and tables. I had recently stopped back in and was suprised how clean, friendly and quality of food was. I have returned many times since. As of May 6th 2020 I have changed from 5 stars to 1 star. I dont know whats going on at this restraunt but they have since replaced American workers with foriegners that barley speak English. I had to litteraly use body language to get straws for our drinks. They completely messed up the order. I know a lot of people that are in need if jobs right niw and who have applied here. Why they are hiring non Americans when so many are in need of a Job is beyond my comprehension. Should not need the manager to interprate between customers and the order takers. I waited 5 minutes just to order, then after arriving to the window to receive my order they asked me to pull forward. I waited another 15 minutes as they processed 6 more orders behind me that promptly got their food and pulled around. Upon receiving my food I opened the bag to find that my large fry was less than half full. I stopped the woman and asked if this is how they fill all their containers and she said no then proceeded to tell me she will get me another fry. 5 more minutes later she comes back hands me the fry and proceeds to glare at me and doesn’t say a word as she waited for me to drive off. No apology or common courtesy. It took almost 30 minutes to receive my order. I don’t understand after waiting that long why my food would be cold either.
