The Vine Coffeehouse and Eatery — Restaurant in Ottumwa

The vine has pretty decent coffee ☕ and their coffee is pretty well priced especially at happy with is from like 2pm-5pm during which you can get half priced coffee which is great because who doesn't love getting perfection at half the price.The vine also has amazing grilled chicken and chicken salad sandwiches which you can you get on one their amazing bagels or you can get on some of their bread 🍞 oh and you can also get lettuce and tomatoe and probably onion on their chicken sandwiches but I would leave the tomatoe alone because I think it tasted a little 💧 watery.The vine also has amazing pastery such as their sugar cookies which taste like their out of this 🌎 world and are pretty decently priced at 75 cents a pice some of their other amazing pasterys are their awesome muffins.besides those awesome pasterys and sandwiches I mentioned they also have amazing soup 🍲 and tons of other amazing sandwiches and pasterys.the vine is also not just a coffee they also sell a wide variety of other drinks such as tee and smoothes.so weather you need a good morning pick me up a great lunch some amazing dessert or just a snack stop at the vine where their coffees always fresh and their menus even fresher.by the way if you've made it this far thanks for reading and I appreciate all of you who help to support our local business cause trust me when our mall can't keep stores we really need the other...

My experience was not so good! If I could give it a 0 star I would. I felt unwelcome in the coffee shop since I came in the person at the register looked at me didn’t really welcome me in the shop. I said good morning twice before she even answered back. Is not like she didn’t hear me she was right in front of the register the whole time. I tried to quickly glance at the menú and choose what I wanted because it seemed like she was rushing. ( Even thought the coffee shop was empty) She never did try to see what I was looking for or asked me if I wanted to see a menú I had my 4 year old with me and asked if they had anything for kids she just pointed on the side of the counter at muffins and cookies suggested that’s all they had seemed like she thought that I wouldn’t be able to understand her ..(later on I noticed they have a kids menú but she just didn’t want to waste her time letting me know about it. While I was seating waiting on my coffee and sandwiches I ordered. I noticed how welcoming she was to other costumers smiling the whole time (COSTUMERS THAT LOOKED AMERICAN) let me put it that way because that’s how she made us feel the whole time she was taking our order she had a bad attitude.. She seemed to be bothered to serve us. Food and drinks are good I will give them that! I have gotten better costumer service at Starbucks...

This is a multi-functioning location. It is a wonderful place to gather with others, eat, enjoy great coffee, teas, or smoothies along with options for games or just visit. Connected to a Bookstore and more, Hair Salon, and Spa/work-out Classes, rooms. Lots to explore! in addition, there is the Klassi Kloset for other Thrift needs or to drop off! Serves the community and beyond with their proceeds in the Thrift portion!! Whatsoever you do, even for the least of these... it is as done...
