Arrr matey, drop anchor and listen well, for I’ve found the hidden treasure of Lake Winola—and it goes by the name Snappers Bar and Grill. 🏴‍☠️

After a long day ridin’ the waves and battlin’ the sun like a true seadog, there be no finer port to pull into than this gem. The wings? Spicy enough to make a pirate weep tears of joy into his pint. Crispy, saucy, and cooked to perfection—they’ll have ye forgettin’ all about yer scurvy.

And the beer? Cold as the North Sea and flowin’ smooth as a mermaid’s song. Whether ye fancy a frosty lager or a hoppy treasure from the tap, they’ll fill yer goblet with the kind of golden nectar that makes landlubbers and seadogs alike sing shanties ‘til sundown.

The crew at Snappers is as friendly as they come—no plank-walkin’ here, just good times, hearty laughs, and a belly full of flavor. Aye, if ever ye be near Lake Winola, steer yer ship straight to Snappers. It’s the kind of place Blackbeard himself would’ve dropped anchor at… had he craved wings over pillagin’.

Fair winds and full mugs, my friends. This be a five-star port...

Visited on a Thursday evening for Wing and Clam night. Food was good for wings and clams, and service was excellent. Place has a new feel and is well laid out. Owner was there this evening and I had a chance to speak with him; had a great conversation and seems to be very passionate about this establishment. I'm sure a weekend evening (especially football season) would be an entirely different experience. Excited to visit again and try some other items on the menu! Parking is tight in front of the bar, but there is plenty of other parking immediately...

Not a bad place especially after changing hands.

First, the place is pretty nice. Good tables. Parking is horrible though.

Second, food took FOREVER. Only a few things came out at once with waits in between. Easily over an hour. Food quality was also hit or miss. Mozerella sticks were more like a melted pile and came out after half an hour. They were stuck to the paper.

Burgers were pretty good. Fries were fresh but soggy. Food was hot which was nice.

Servers were good and polite. I just dont understand how the small kitchen...

A casual lakeside bar with great bar food. The wings are a standout, and on Thursdays, they offer a wing and clam combo that’s hard to pass up. You’ll find plenty of domestic beers on tap, a wraparound bar, and table seating nearby the water. It’s a solid spot if you’re craving wings and want to hang where the locals go for drinks and comfort food.

This place is all around horrible!!! Food is bad!!!! Got an Italian Stromboli and it came with only ham, salami an cheese!!!! And it was burnt. Ask the owner, said onions, peppers an anything else was extra. I’ve eaten there before but never again!!! Rude staff, have to wait for drinks.
