05/08/24, had an interesting experience here in the last month or so. Went here for a burger on a Saturday about 7pm. There was a lady that got there before me that took about a half hour to order. We ended up getting our food at about 8pm. The special I usually get includes a an onion ring, fries, and a drink. I ordered fries. I got tater tots. When I went back to let them know they boofed up, they offered to fix it. You could tell they were ready to go home. I told them I would take the tatter tots, and the dark haired cashier (Del?) promised to take care of me on the onion rings when I went back. Long story short, when I did make it back there that same dark haired cashier did not remember me. Guess I should have made them get the order right the first time around. I insisted that they provide extra onion rings. Now my son told me I was a little over the top. I did not yell or scream, but was firm. Man I got the look from the crew. The moral to the story is, just make them get it right, as they won’t remember you the next time in. Sorry guys you lost a star over this. No more 7pm visits for me. 01/11/25, First of all when we visited there today, there was no one there. We ordered, and were told we had to wait outside in the cold. I told them that when someone came in I would go outside. Not good enough for them, they kicked us out saying it was policy. I went back inside to refill my tea, and got in the way of the dark haired cashier (YES THE SAME CASHIER AS BEFORE) She did not contain her anger over my being in her way. I was just trying to get a lid, and a straw in my drink. I remember their burgers being better, and mine was very salty. Onion rings burned to a crisp. Fries were blah. Maybe it is time to look for a different burger joint. I agree with a different patron, who remarked that the dark haired cashier (Del?) should look for a different job. That one had no patience at all. I really wish I could have gotten my tip back. This place must have changed hands at some point. Not the same. And to the boy behind the counter who thought he was the enforcer…what would you have done if I had told you I wouldn’t go outside to wait for my food? If you want lettuce, onion, and tomato you have to tell them. Otherwise you don’t end up with much on your burger. Check your bag for condiments., there were none in my bag.
01/30/25 Sorry guys. But after my last visit there I won’t be visiting you again. Too many burger places out there competing with you for the same buck. It was great at one time, not so anymore. At least now I can find a place where I can eat inside. I agree with MA HOMES not at all what it used to be. 06/23/25 If you want a really good burger, I recommend The...
Read moreWhen I first came here the food was fantastic. Ever since that first time I feel like it has been downhill. Food overly salted, dirty counters/floors, dirty kitchen area, missing food, poor quality ingredients, and so much more. The straw that finally broke the camels back though was my job made a 3person group order, after picking it up and driving back to work my coworker realized they forgot the onion rings (2 pieces) that was supposed to come with the Kelly combo. So instead of driving back we called to let them know. We hoped that they would just make some and let us get it or give us some type of IOU instead the lady that answered the phone asked multiple times “are you sure it wasn’t in the bag”…. I was sure and my answer didn’t change from the first time she asked. After she was “satisfied” with my answer she said “Well that’s just something we throw in there for customers” 😳 “Something you throw in” How about NO, if I paid for it you don’t get to decided if I receive it or not. There was no accountability, if it’s on your menu and I paid for it, I deserve a refund or the product I paid for.
Lesson learned and customer lost. Hope this helps someone find a better burger spot to spend...
Read moreUhg. This used to be the absolute GO-TO burger joint pre 2015 maybe a little later. Over the years it's drastically declined in quality yet increased in price. Ever since the ole man that used to own it, retired and he gave it away to family it just hasn't been the same, he should have sold it to someone who cared. Their 'signature staple' Kelly burger used to be just that, it was special and something you went to Grand Stand to get. Now a days, it may as well just be a regular burger. The ham is just a super thin piece of deli ham they slap on the griddle and dry it out, it used to be an eighth of an inch thick, if not thicker! Burgers used to be loaded with veggies and condiments, they used to be so big you couldn't hardly fit it in your mouth, the patties used to be thick and juicy too - now they're flat with no volume and dry. They also got rid of their styrofoam trays, so food is almost impossible to eat on the go, and doesn't retain heat, often letting your food get cold by the time you reach wherever you may be headed. Unfortunately this place is just a deflated reflection of the greatness it...
