Whoever owns or manages this place needs to do a serious overhaul on their employees. Every time we order from here our pizza crust has been burnt and the flavors are overshadowed by the burnt crust. The past three times our pizza order has been wrong and we have gone back to get the correct order we paid for. This will be the last time we patronize this place, which is sad because they are local to us. Literally right across the street from our neighborhood. We gave this place our best shot and well we are done trying. At this point it's a waste of our money. Today I placed an order for pickup. When I got home I realized they made us the wrong pizza. So I went back to get the correct pizza we ordered. When I got there I let them know and the apology I got from the employees seemed more annoyed than anything. I was asked if I wanted to keep it and told them, no. It had mushrooms on it and I am highly allergic to them. I requested to have the one I ordered and paid for. While waiting for my pizza to be made an argument broke out in the kitchen. The employees started yelling at each other and the female employee was calling the male employee all kinds of four letter names that weren't appropriate at all. I sat there in shock. Read moreExtremely disappointed in the terrible customer service provided by Backstreet Pizza. Put in an online order for 2 dinners with salads. Received the dinners but not the salads. Called the store and the girl on the phone said she remembered labeling them and they weren't in their refrigerator, making it sound like I was lying. After some back and forth, she said she could give me a store credit or a refund. I said I would rather have the salads and asked her if she could call the delivery driver to see if he left them in the car. She put me on hold and came back saying she couldn't get ahold of him. I asked if I could come pick them up. When I got there, I was told they had run out of romaine. There was no manager to talk to. I asked for a receipt showing the refund and was told they couldn't print one. After some more back and forth, I was finally provided with the receipt. I understand good help is hard to find and mistakes happen but there's no excuse for treating customers like this. We were loyal customers and ordered almost every weekend from Backstreet....
Read moreThe second star is only because by the time we finally got our food it was good. Ordered 2 pizzas and garlic knots at 625, told it would be ready by 656. Showed up at 656 and got told it would be a couple of minutes. Watched 3 pizzas go out in that time (one to the manager who then left and said "let me know when I need to come back to lock up" before leaving). Finally at 735 got up to ask for an update (watched what looked like our pizza go in the oven at 740). Finally someone asked if they could help me and I asked for an update. Got told 5 minutes and offered a free 2L for the wait. Asked for a full refund. Got told that wasn't an option since the manager wasnt there (yeah I know, watched her leave with her pizza). Was given 50% off but also had to demand garlic knots be remade since they were ready for 656. Finally got my food at 755...a full hour and a half after it...
