La Fortuna Mexican Market — Restaurant in Oviedo

We are so excited for this new establishment 🎊 giving Hispanics a fair chance in our community is very important to us. I had the pleasure of visiting La Fortuna Market - Oviedo yesterday and the cleanliness, variety of food /goods, & not to mention great staff made us very happy. It was interesting to see food from around Latin America & Caribbean. The empanadas from Venezuela 🤤 It was the first for us sense every country has their own take on them. Im a fan of potato balls from Dominican Republic (loved that they give it their own twist) 💗Also, the Yuca roll was exceptional. I am so glad I found this place. It's honestly something special. It reminds me of the little Bodegas in NYC and in Miami. They sell a little bit of everything that you would need from you local cornerstore.

The real star of the show is the Bakery and Coffee counter. Everything is fresh and beautifully made. It's a mom and pop shop, and they are very sweet.

I will gladly bring my business here to support this local market. They are so much better than some of the Latin chains around town.

Stopped by and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. They have a well stocked market as well as an amazing café with so many different options. My boyfriend and I tried the empanadas and the tamales, and they are honestly the best empanadas and tamales I've had in my entire life. They have a cute bakery too, where we got a giant chocolate chip cookie and all I gotta say is this is absolutely a spot to check out and to become a regular; very welcoming vibes and a lovely atmosphere...
