Just under 90 minutes to get cold pizza.
Normally, I like Marcos Pizza. The one in Bartlesville is great and the one on 31st street in Tulsa is great. However the Owasso store is absolutely terrible. About every 6 months I will think "maybe it will be better this time", place an order with this store, and end up disappointed.
Today I placed a $40 order at 6:18pm per my phones call log. They told me 30-40 minutes. At around 7:23 I called to check on the order. They said they would look into it, set the phone down for over 5 minutes, and then said "it left the store already, it should be at your house anytime."
20 minutes later, still no food. I called back again at 7:45. Someone again set the phone down for 5 minutes or so to "look into it." While I waited for them to come back, the driver appeared at my house. Start to finish, just under 90 minutes.
As I was signing the credit card receipt, the person came back on and said they couldn't find my order so it must have left the store. I then asked for a manager and was told the person on the phone was the manager. When I told him I found the delay and lack of follow up unacceptable, he said "I'm sorry you were disappointed. We will try better next time " using a somewhat sarcastic tone that implied he didn't care.
When I got the food, all three pizzas were cold and they left the mushrooms off one of them.
I will be sending a copy of this review to their corporate offices and most likely disputing the purchase on my credit card since they refused to refund or issue any kind of credit...
Read moreThe pizza was surprisingly good! Lots of toppings, adequate cheese. However, this would have been a $25 dollar pizza at menu price. The menu prices are simply ridiculous at Marcos. Fortunately, they have coupons that typically bring the prices down to earth. So, my pizza was about $12.50 since I had a 50 percent off for specialty pizzas. It was a fair price for the pizza. You'd have to be desperate or stupid to pay the menu price for these cookie cutter pizzas.
My only complaint was the wait time and the terrible app. The app wouldn't even work. It gave me blank screens instead of a menu from the main screen, so I ended up using the online webpage. I ordered my pizza a little before 6 o'clock and the ordering system told me that I could pick up my order at 6:19. I got to the store at 630 and ended up waiting another 20 minutes to get my pizza. No one apologized for the wait, so I figured that was a standard situation rather than an anomaly. They seemed very busy, unlike the Marco's on 31st and 129th where they typically talk on their mobile phones and ignore you when you come in the door.

Read moreEvery time we order, it takes a least 1.5 hours to get it. We haven't ordered there, in over a year, and this last time it was never delivered. We called and they said they were just leaving, and would be there within 5-10 minutes, this was after an hour(delievery time was 30-45 minutes). We called back again, 20 minutes later, and they said they had called 6 times, and have been driving around for 45 minutes looking for our house. It may be me, but the timing doesn't add up. We processed to ask for a refund on our card, and the order me cancelled, since it was too late now. They said they couldn't refund our card, they could only give us a credit since they didn't know how to refund cards. So now we're waiting for them to figure out how to give a refund, and have to call back tomorrow. We have been dealing with the assistant manager, which I feel should know how to refund cards, and he said we have to talk to the store manager if we want to attempt to get a refund. I can guarantee, this will be our last time to order from this...
