I'm sorry to say that we won't be back. Everyone was extremely nice and polite and we absolutely loved our server, Taylor (which is the only reason I'm rating 2 stars instead of 1). My best friend and I went on Valentine's day and it was a disaster. We had reservations for 6pm and were sat immediately but it went downhill from there. We waited 2 hours for our food! We also saw a lot of other people waiting for a long time and it got to be unacceptable when we saw people who had ordered long after us get their food before us. We had a 7 year old and a 2 year old with us so you can imagine how terrible the wait was. My friend finally had to take her children home while I waited to take our food to go. Once I finally received our food they had tempura fried ALL of our rolls... I ordered one tempura roll and the rest raw. They did attempt to make it right by comping our whole meal - this was nice but unfortunately not enough to make us come back. We never once heard from the manager, only relayed messages through our server who was doing the best she could when the problem was clearly in the kitchen. It looked like they only had 2 people actually rolling sushi so we figured that was the hold up.. The kid's meals came from the kitchen and were out within...
Read moreI recently had the chance to enjoy a meal of sushi rolls paired with a Flying IPA, and the experience was memorable from start to finish. The sushi rolls were fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented. Each bite carried a balance of flavor—delicate fish, crisp vegetables, and perfectly seasoned rice that held together without being too heavy. Standout rolls included the spicy tuna, which had just the right amount of heat, and a signature roll topped with avocado that added a creamy richness. The attention to detail in the preparation was clear, and it made every roll feel thoughtfully crafted rather than rushed.
Pairing the sushi with a Flying IPA turned out to be a great choice. The beer had a crisp, citrusy bitterness that cut through the richness of the fish and complemented the spice of certain rolls. It created a refreshing contrast that elevated the entire meal.
Service was another highlight. Staff were attentive without being intrusive, quick to recommend pairings, and always checked in to make sure everything was to our liking. Plates were cleared promptly, and drinks were refreshed right when needed. Overall, the combination of excellent food, a well-chosen beer, and genuine service made the experience...
Read moreJust ate here with my wife for the first time. I had the crab Rangoon appetizer and my wife had the veggie spring rolls. Both very good. The veggie spring rolls were fried instead of steamed which we find preferable. For sushi rolls, my wife had the Green Day which she enjoyed with the fried green beans on top of the roll and the sauce it came on was very good. I had the full metal alchemist and Godzilla roll. I did enjoy the full metal alchemist slightly more just because I prefer salmon over tuna but it was my first time trying a fried sushi roll and I had the full metal alchemist first and was like I’ve got to have another so I got the Godzilla. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful, didn’t make us feel rushed. The greeter was also very prompt and friendly. Not a lot of seating, we got there right when they opened and were there just under an hour and it was full, and I see why. Over all we spent just under $60 for 3 rolls, 2 sodas, 2 apps and a dessert. Very reasonably priced and...
