Erma's — Restaurant in Owingsville

A little disappointed with my visit. The workers were outside smoking and were in no hurry to go in and wait on the 2 customers. 1 worker did use sanitizer before serving the other customer but I'm not sure the worker waiting on me did. I ordered an ice cream cone for my friend and the worker used her bare hand to pull out the cone (the cones did not have paper protectors) and handed me the bare, filled cone. Before I took it from her, I wrapped a napkin around it. I ordered a hot fudge sundae with extra hot fudge and nuts. I paid for the extras but there was no extra hot fudge in the bottom and there were no nuts to be seen. I did not take it back! But I won't be in any...

Ermas is a small roadside restaurant that has been around over 50 years that I know of. Although it appears small, the menu offers a huge selection of food as well as ice cream and shakes. As a first timer to Erma's, I was very impressed with Erma Burger. The young people working there had a great attitude and I love the old nostalgic feel of the building. Reminds me of getting a footlong chili dog and a chocolate shake at this old DQ in Winchester. Unfortunately it's gone now, but it's good to see something like that can still make it. Keep going as long as you can....
