Greeks Catering & Events Food Truck — Restaurant in Pace

I have a special place in my heart for Greek food, and my family feels the same way. We often visit the Gulf Breeze location at Trux Stop near Villa Venice. However, tonight was an exceptional experience.

At 7:32 PM, I called the phone number I had saved for the Gulf Breeze location to find out what time they closed and hopefully to order a gyro for dinner. Unfortunately, the call just rang. About two minutes later, I received a callback and realized that I had actually contacted Stelios, the owner, on his personal cell phone. I apologized for the mistake and for bothering him so late. He said no problem at all, what can I help you with?

After explaining what I was calling for, informed me that they actually closed at 7 PM, but asked what I was hungry for. To my surprise, he offered to call the restaurant to see if they had anything left. I was incredibly grateful that he would take the time to check. When he called me back, I was blown away to hear that they would prepare a gyro for me, and it would be on him!

How many business owners go out of their way to care for their customers like that, especially while spending time with family? When I arrived, the manager, Stephanie, and another team member—whose name I didn’t catch—were very kind and not at all bothered by the situation, even though they had already started cleaning up for the night.

I called in this evening because I had a door dash and I was worried it wouldn’t be picked up before they closed. I called and spoke with Veronica and she assured me that my food would be hot and fresh. She was so hospitable on the phone. You just don’t get customer service this good in this day in age!
