Upper Crust Deli — Restaurant in Pacifica

My Order was wrong. All Wrong! I had it delivered by DoorDash(which is another issue) I ordered no onions no lettuce on anything on my order and for my cold food to not be put with my hot food. (also note they put hot food in plastic bags so by the time you get it, it’s all moist and full of condensation and mushy) I ordered fresh cut steak fries. I got none of that. I had a sandwich I don’t know what sandwiches is because I don’t order bacon sandwiches , Is missing the condiments and the pickle. As you see I have lettuce on a sandwich, my condiments weren’t right, and then when I called about it the manager Ray told me to have door dash take care of it. Door Dash did not make my food nor did they package my food so why Rae would tell me that, I don’t know. The upper crust deli doesn’t have a return policy on DoorDash orders, the manager should know that. Then Ray, yelled out to some girl in the background and asked, if they put lettuce on me food and she said No. I asked him for a number so I could send the pictures to him and he wouldn’t give me one, I asked for any number or email to where I could send the picture to the store that he has access to to see the food and he said no. ( again not owning there mistake. I asked him for the owners number and he said no I’m not giving it to you. I have to question a business that can’t follow through and not take responsibility for their mistakes. Ray also told me my food was edible, even it was not made the way I took time to order it, And apparently he’s a spin golly that knows peoples food...

Best hidden gem in Pacifica. I went here after reading the review on a magazine, recommending this place. Popular amongst cyclists.

The place is in small skirtmall, unassuming.

They give a generous portion of meats, warm bread. Listening to cooking sounds and smells coffee in Sunday morning, beautiful atmosphere.

I got: reuben pastram and philly cheesesteak.

This is a hidden gem. Emphasis on the hidden because it’s inside the little building. I wish it was more packed with customers because this really is a nice place. It seems family run so that adds 100 points. Overall the service was great, the food took no less than 15 minutes to get. If they offer French fries…get the curly fries alongside your sandwich....
