Cheli's Cafe — Restaurant in Palacios

I rdered the 3 crunchy taco plate with beans and rice. The rice tasted like plastic. Probably the boil in bag rice which is sad for a Mexican food Cafe. Beans were cheap canned beans. Tacos were just ok. Store bought shells. As far as the waiter, there was no waiter. Someone took our order and a different person brought our food out. We never got checked for refills or asked if we needed anything else. We just had to get up and go to the counter. The salsa for the chips was flavorless also. I'll be passing on this...

Love the new place! It gives you a lot more seating. Food is wonderful! Coffee is great love coming in often! However, I wish the food was warmer.
