Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Palatine Township

First, I'm a Jimmy John's brand advocate and have made Jimmy John's my lunch go-to for over a decade, as a result I visit Jimmy John's locations all over the place. This particular Jimmy John's is closest to my house and I would give anything to see improvements but it's absolutely terrible. 1) It's beyond slow. Any time of day, any day of the week.. there is ALWAYS a line. Usually a 10 minute wait or so. 2) The unsweetened tea has been rancid on more than one occasion.. not sure what they did to it but it made both me and my wife sick just smelling it. tasted to confirm it was definitely bad. 3) there is always trash in the floor behind the counter which is available as soon as you walk in (because of the angle of the room) - papers, meat, lettuce, all over the place back there.. definitely not what you want to see when you walk in. 4) the last few times I went (i don't go to that location any more), they have had no chips. and this was over the period of weeks. Not sure if that's a covid supply issue or not, but other locations had them. I now drive 4 miles out of the way if i want to go to Jimmy John's to avoid this location. I should also mention, I'm a 48 year old male and run my own business and NEVER take the time to write and complain like this. I'm far from a Karen.. but with that rotten tea the last time I have had it with this location and want to see it meet Jimmy John's standards for selfish reasons (it's closest to me). UPDATE: Jimmy John's main brand reached out to me and gave me the contact information for this location - so I filled out the contact form and basically restated this review... 2 months ago, no response. Jimmy John’s is amazing! I really love all of their food on the menu. The smells of their delicious food are spreading all over the place. The food is made to order, all of it are fresh, and always new. They prepare and serve the orders so fast and quick. All of them are working really fast. The food will literally serve to you while it is hot and fresh. Very fast service. Everything went as expected. Their food is quality and delicious. Their staff is so friendly, nice, and decent. They will greet you once you enter the place and even guide you to the vacant spot. They all know how to accommodate all of their customers. Also they really care to all of their customers and give their best to satisfy all of the customers. Very personable staff. This place is really huge, so clean, and neat. The whole place has a lit vibe. It is very relaxing and comfortable. It is also near to many different place around. They got the perfect location because it is very accessible and so near. You all must give this place a try. Visit here and you will know exactly what I am saying right now. Jimmy John’s never disappoints. Great place for fast food and comfort food that will surely satisfy our cravings. I would really love to go back here again soon when I have some free time. I live in the area and have been ordering lunch from here frequently due to working from home the past year and not always having time to run out. There's not much offered for delivery in the area, and this is the only Jimmy John's location that delivers to me, but they have gotten my order wrong the last six times I've ordered from them. They either forget something or just completely give you the wrong item. My order usually costs around $13 and I tip like $4/$5 so it's annoying paying close to $20 for a sandwich meal and not even getting what you ordered.

They consistently forget side condiments. It got to the point where they added a note to my account apparently to not forget something so then it went from getting zero of what I ordered to like 15 packets of mustard. Like is this a joke? The note must've been deleted because it's back to forgetting things again. I'm not one to make a driver make another trip just to bring condiments or request a refund but I'm no longer ordering from Jimmy John's. I hear the owner isn't worth supporting either....
