cafe location would be so nice if the air didn’t feel tense and thick. overhead racial comments from a staff member named Megan or Morgan? believe they were a manager or in charge. why does it seem like there’s children running these businesses? it just doesn’t feel well managed.. drinks are always very good and other employees are friendly hopefully they find better management and embrace their diversity. to add to that.. why are hot drinks not given with sleeves or even double cupped?? theyre insanely hot and easily burn you!
Update: havent returned to this location in some time due to the complaints I’ve listed above. ive noticed lately less staff presence in the cafe and i feel for them because theyre trying to service customers coming in through the drive thru and cafe. when i say less staff presence, i mean like two people running the store. i asked a young woman working how they were doing and if their manager was at least around to help. the employee informed me that the manager was on site but not around… I have years of managerial experience in different areas, including the service industry and to hear that, it deeply saddened me. such a huge franchise that’s poorly ran, no wonder there were only two employees on duty. this location consistently seems to be a problem. i used to love getting a drink and heading over to the nearby park across the street. now i go out of my way to go to another location. especially because i dont want to be given hot tea that burns my hand and requires me to wait 30 minutes before i can consume it. i have to ask for a sleeve for a very evident scolding drink? c’mon. im sure it doesn’t feel great for the employees to hold it either. do...
Read moreWow. I walked in and there was 7-8 employees working. I did not get a good morning, hi be right with you, or any sort of greeting. They all made eye contact and I smiled trying to get a response but no one acknowledged me. Not even the manager running the store. One woman saw me and turned her back and when someone told her to take my order she said in a minute and started the online order instead. The manager left me standing there and went to go interview hiring an employee in the lobby. I waited for 4 minutes before someone came to take my order. As soon as I sat down an employee came to sit next to me for a break. By the time I got up and left, 10 mins later…. He was back working again. Before I left, I went to use the restroom and it was TRASHED. Tampons and trash all over the floor and garbage stuffed to the gills. It was 9am. The toilet itself was so dirty the whole place was a mess. I was so tempted to tell the Asian hiring manager that she needs to run a tighter ship. Read moreOne of the most unfriendliest, unorganized, and dirtiest Starbucks I’ve ever been to. I have frequented this one a lot over the years, and I feel like it’s getting worse. I go at different times in the day, and have noticed most of the issues are with the morning, shall I say older staff. There’s two ladies in particular that are just rude to some of the younger staff that works there, as well as customers. I’m not sure if it’s the age gap, and they feel more superior or what. I have children around some of the younger staffs ages there, and I wouldn’t want them working with women like that. They also seem quite unorganized, ignore you, and just plain rude. When I go later in the day it seems like there’s a lot less tension, and that there is younger staff who are working.
