The Wet Spot — Restaurant in Palm Bay

I drive by this place all of the time but I had never been in before last Friday. Honestly, I was put off a little by the name. I love a good dive bar but something about the name made me assume the worst. I am happy to admit I was wrong. The bartenders were wonderful. It's very clean and open inside. They have pool tables, dart boards tons and tons of seating and an awesome jukebox. I'm not sure if it's something they do all the time or just for happy hour but while we were they they gave a raffle ticket for every drink purchase and then on the hour every hour they drew a ticket to win a free drink. Your traditions dive bar, but it was laid back in the afternoon. Just had to go once because of the name. It wasn’t such a bad place considering. 😂 The service was spot on and they give you a ticket with your drink, at least that day, and you can win a free drink, I believe each hour? Didn’t try the food, although I heard it’s pretty good for bar food and who doesn’t love bar food. Talked to the manager and was told my dog could be outside with a leash and she was too drunk to remember…. Showed up with my dog ouside and she aggressively kicked me out because she was too drunk to remember what she said to me…. If you like a good spot ruined by poor management this is the spot for you.
