I had an heirloom wedding band from our grandparents that was gifted to us, and I needed to resize it without losing the inscription. I took it to three different jewelers for quotes. One jeweler offered a surprisingly low price, but the appearance, ambiance, and interaction with the shop it left a lot to be desired.

After discussing it with my family, I realized that I wouldn't have forgiven myself if anything had happened to the ring, given its irreplaceable sentimental value to our family. So, I decided that choosing a different jeweler was the right decision.

I brought a wrist watch to have the battery replaced at Palm Bay Jewelers. After approximately 20 minutes of waiting on the replacement, the jeweler appeared letting me know that my band had fallen apart while he was replacing the battery. On further inspection I noticed the face of the watch had been scratched and there was evidence that the band had been forcefully broken off. The excuse or probable cause stated by the jeweler was that it was dry rot but I am fairly certain that this was not the case. My suspicion is that the band was forcefully broken off in the process trying to remove the back of the watch in order to replace the battery. Simply the best! The most thoughtful and diligent! I brought in a watch, a sentimental gift, and was a bit scared to leave it with just anyone, but I am so glad I trusted them. Upon arriving, I was greeted with smiles and great conversation.

The watch ended up needing more work than I anticipated, and Mike was able to resolve the issue in a timely manner. The cost of repair and service was beyond fair! Explained everything to me so I knew what was going on.
