We tried the new Giuseppeās in Palm Desert and sat at the bar. Two parties near us were obviously bothered by the bartenderās service. So when it was our turn we were greeted late because he was talking with other employees. We ordered drinks and asked for water 3 times. We asked for a menu 2 times. We told him we would order food soon and we had to wait to get his attention for a long time. So did the people near us. He was talking to the other employees. The owner and manager came by to say hi. Very nice guys. We didnāt say anything. But bar service was not good. One bartender ended up sitting next to a patron - the main bartender was talking to guest too long and employees too long. We had to ask for the check twice as did a party at the bar near us. It was poor attention to us and they werenāt that busy. Iāll go back to the other location in S Palm Desert. They pay attention to the customers. These guys should do a better job of being aware. It took away from our evening that we had to ask repeatedly for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you are a Shadow Ridge guest who is starving at least there is pizza. If you are a Palm Desert local or visitor, skip it. When we ordered a beer and asked the price the waitress said a different price than what the menu reads. When we asked about it she said the menus are not updated. That is unacceptable. I also wanted an Aperol Spritz. They only have a substitute aperitif that tasted like liquid cough medicine and it was completely flat, no bubbles in sight.. They did take it back at least. The salads were okay, good portions. The main dishes were all sub par compared to any other local restaurant. Holly, our waitress was nice and did her best. Many customers sitting around us also had issues with the food quality. I have been going to Shadow Ridge for over a decade. My recommendation to anyone staying there is to stick with Snake Bites at the Enclaves pool. I always love the drinks...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFor my experience it is a Solid 3.5 The restaurant looks very nice, but the chairs for the outside tables (sink you back away from the table, where my family sat) need to be changed.
The servers where nice, but we got other people's food brought to us 3 times.
When we finally got the right dishes, my food was cold (I had a simple meatball appetizer) and flavorless. Tasted like cheap pre-made store meatballs. I can make better meatballs at home. I also had Calamari, which came out warm but was bland.
My wife had the shrimp pasta (grilled shrimp). She only ate the shrimp as the pasta was bland and dry.
My son had a Lasagna, which was half decent. My daughter had the kids Pepperoni Pizza (best dish on the table, which is sad).
The wine selection is mid.
For $150 dinner I expected so much more, but left disappointed we decided...
