While the coffee here is better than the other two nearby options, the owner has made it abundantly clear that she has no respect for her regular customers whatsoever. Not only can she not be bothered to post anywhere besides INSTAGRAM that they'll be closed outside their regular hours for holidays or whatever, and never more than a single day ahead of time IF she bothers giving that much notice- sometimes it's literally the very day of the early closure, and it's NEVER in the form of an actual physical sign at the shop that might let her regulars who don't actually use Instagram know, despite repeated complaints about this practice- but she nickel and dimes everything to death
Every other coffee shop I've been to includes the price of a single shot of flavor in the price of your coffee- not here! You want a flavored latte, you're spending an extra $0.50. Now, instead of the standard practice of raising prices $0.25 at a time, she's raised her prices an entire DOLLAR overnight and it now costs over $7 for a single latte. It's like she doesn't want her baristas getting tips because her greed is more important. This is just another incident in a long list of what feel like middle fingers aimed directly at her regular customers- including absolutely refusing to adjust her ordering practices to actually accommodate demand- and the greed and disrespect are starting to outweigh the decency of the coffee. I'm about ready to find a new coffee place, even if I have to go a little further out of my way for it
There's also one barista in particular, I'm not sure which one, who has repeatedly given me a plain mocha when I've asked for a flavored latte. That's getting pretty old, too, especially because the coffee will be too hot for me to try it when I get it, so I won't know they've given me the wrong coffee YET AGAIN usually until I've made it all the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSomeone suggested I come here since they have an early bird discount and I get up early for work, also it's right down the street from my house so I was excited to give this place a try. I got in line at 6:51am, 9 minutes before the early bird time would end. I had to wait behind two cars, and by the time I got to the window it was 7:03. I asked if I could still get the discount and the sweet barista at my window informed me that the computer had a time clock on it and won't allow for the discount after 7. She said she might be able to manually discount it, but when she asked the other barista her response was "It doesn't matter what time you get in line, only what time you get to the window." As if it is somehow my fault that the line took longer than 10 minutes to get through. I got a large mocha with an extra shot, and I usually leave a few dollars in tip (as a fellow barista) but this time I left nothing, even though I would have liked to tip the first gal I spoke to. Regardless of my frustration, the espresso was also not great. Other places in town make better coffee. If I try this place again I will update...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday when I went to get coffee (11am) it was fairly busy but not overwhelmingly so. The barista was very short and cocky. I ordered the special in a mocha , a cup of water for my daughter and three muffins. First, she didnāt put any coffee in my drink! It was basically a flavored hot chocolate! This is the 2nd time this barista has done this. I have gone here before and it wasnāt an issue , it only became and issue after I became pregnant and suddenly whenever she works I get a coffee drink without the coffee! If sheās doing this because I am pregnant and she thinks her civic duty to make me obstain from coffee while pregnant she needs to straight up refuse to serve me coffee instead of making me pay for a drink I order and not recieve what I order. Bad business. Secondly, she handed me an empty cup with no water for my daughter....
