My family and I absolutely loved this place. From the mountain views, hilarious signs everywhere, cheerful staff, and delicious food.

We were seated quickly, even though the place was packed and were promptly greeted with coffee. The staff here do am amazing job of making sure your cup never gets empty.

Our food came fast and was absolutely delicious. My kids are still talking about how good the French toast was.

Now the bad... And the ONLY reason I can't give 5 stars. I ordered the Country Benedict and my dad ordered the Original Benedict. Everything about both of them was delicious except that both of our poached eggs were cooked completely through until the yolks were solid.

Anyone who enjoys poached eggs knows that they are supposed to have very runny yolks. There was absolutely NO yolk in these eggs. We may as well have had hard boiled eggs.

I brought it to the waitresses attention and she was very apologetic and offered to have our meals re-done. But we declined, not wanting to waste food. I got the sincere impression from her that this was...

On my first trip to Alaska in 2021, the folks I was with took me to the Noisy Goose Cafe in Palmer. All the menu items looked good but, as my family knows, I'm a sucker for a good chicken fried steak. When I saw that on their menu, I stopped looking. Well, I'm here to tell you that three years ago, the Noisy Goose introduced me to the BEST chicken fried steak I'd ever had.

On the drive back to Anchorage, I informed him (in no uncertain terms 😂) that we would be stopping at the Noisy Goose for lunch. My brother in-law had the halibut sandwich, which he said was outstanding. Want to know what I had...🤔

As you can see, the portions for the chicken fried steak and it's sides (eggs over easy, has browns and French toast!) are enormous! But as you can also see, I ate every last bit.

If you're ever in Palmer, Alaska, stop at the Noisy Goose. Of course I'd suggest getting the chicken fried steak, but the menu is extensive and all the food looks...

85 total minutes for Noisy Goose Cafe? (40-min drive + 45-min wait). And yes, it was all worth it for that incredibly comforting soup. Brunch was a great bonus! . . . #AnchorageEats #WorthTheJourney #NoisyGooseCafe #ComfortFood #AlaskaFood
