Lunada Kitchen — Restaurant in Palos Verdes Estates

As a small business owner myself, I’m sharing this because I would want to know. We love the kitchen , come almost every Friday but the last 2 visits have been marred by errors. 3 weeks ago, we thought the food was taking a long time (20 minutes plus) and there were very few diners so we went to check and while my husbands dinner was ready and sitting there, my dinner was a special and had not printed for kitchen so wasn’t made . Mistakes happen but I would have expected the team to come tell us proactively. Then last night happened. We ordered and our food came but not the steak skewers I had ordered for my main. I assumed they were coming but after 5 minutes or so, had to flag someone down. A few minutes later, someone came to tell me they had not heard that part of the order - weird since we only ordered 3 things - but they said they would get them right away. Back a few minutes later to ask for a credit card - ok, whatever. 15 minutes later, my husband is long done, and no skewers. I go in to ask they be packed up - but seriously , did they not prioritize these for the kitchen? Again, mistakes happen, it’s how you recover from them and this was pretty...

This gem in PV is an absolute treasure! As everyone says, the service is absolutely top notch followed immediately by the scrumptious food and excellent coffee! I wish I could give this place a million stars! I need to give a special shout out to the Outstanding barista here, Diane! She makes me the BEST iced Americano w extra half and half! If she isn't there, I get a latte lol. That is good too, but after having Diane's magic coffee... Lol. Obviously I LOVE this place!

I come about 3x a week w my friend who loves their black coffee and sweets! First prize for peanut butter and jelly brownie, close second is the massive chocolate chip cookie and then the lemon bar! We've spoken w one of the owners and they make the delights on premises and their croissants are there best seller!

We are both so happy to have found the Lunada kitchen!

2nd time I’ve done takeout in one week and everything so far has been outstanding! The beef and salmon burgers are juicy. Fries are crispy. Tuna tartare was fresh. Chicken wings nice and not overcooked. Will definitely be back for more. House made dessert looks amazing too! They also serve beer and wine. Sounds like they are expanding their hours since they are only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Love supporting local...
