Louisiana SeaFood & Wing — Restaurant in Panthersville

I've ordered from this restaurant on DoorDash a few times, and these are probably the best wings I've ever had. They had great reviews, and it was always packaged really well. When they were no longer available on DoorDash, I decided to pick them up myself. The building and parking lot could definitely use some work, but given the area, that's to be expected. I called in my order, and it wasn't ready when I got there. I paid and waited. While waiting, I noticed that the health food score was not displayed anywhere, but I ignored it. I assume it was the owner working the counter, an older Asian woman. She called me back up to let me know that she accidentally charged me $140.33 instead of $14.03. She voided it and asked me to pay again. Since my food was no longer paid for, I decided to ask about the health score. She hesitated and then said they didn't have one. I then asked if they received health inspections, and she replied yes, they do receive state health inspections. I asked again, what is the number you received from that inspection? She said they didn't have one again and then tried to brush it off and told me to pay again. Any restaurant operating in GA legally gets a score from inspection, so either they are not properly licensed or they failed inspection. Given that they were closed on DoorDash and in person for a while, I'm assuming it was the latter. After refusing to tell me the score, she said my food was ready and asked if I wanted it twice. They give a good amount on the seafood and it’s fresh. Definitely better quality then some of the other location near by & as well as the quality.

Update - I tried to call in a order she picks up and I ask a question about flavor on wings she tells I’m taking too long and says you come in and hangs up on me. I call back she says I not take your order she hangs up again. I come in & they are not evening busy.

Update to update- I call in tonight to place an order my usual crab order $30! Plus wing deal and drink. She rudely tells me no I can’t order crab over the phone and hangs up. The reason I order over the phone is because when you order there they tell you like 15 mins but then you are there waiting 30 mins. I have a 1yr old son so sitting & waiting for 30/40mins is like 2 hrs. Its Completely ridiculously you can’t order certain items over the phone especially when I order all the time. Food A-1 especially the fish sandwich combo, I suggest you try it and Thank me later!! The owner is so nice, she serves with a positive attitude and smile everytime. My mom & father would order their wings and fish ONLY from this place. With mom transitioning 2yrs ago, I find my self eating here more often. Reminding me of how much she enjoyed their food, and quality of service. FRIDAY is the crispy, perfectly seasoned WHITING FISH SANDWICH COMBO DAY for me & she uses WHEAT BREAD, with fresh tomatoes & lettuce!!! Crinkle cut fries tooo!!! MY FAVE!!!
