Buen Provecho Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Parchment

I have been going to this restaurant since it opened. I was so excited when they did open! The food is good, especially the chimichanga. The street tacos are good, but I do like Los Brothers better for those, however this place is only a couple minutes away. I really wanted to support them & I've tried, but since they hired a new female server, things have gone downhill. We usually order to go & used to order online, but one time my order wasn't even started after 30 minutes when I went to pick it up. I was told by this server not to order online. They were a little busy & she seemed overwhelmed. I don't think this should even be an option on the website if it shouldn't be used. She told me to call in the order. So the next time we tried doing that. That was also unsuccessful. The phone would ring once & hang up. I called about 7 times. Not surprising, when I went in to place my order this girl was working & I said something about it. When I tried to call in front of her it magically worked!!! It seems she doesn't want our business & they would get a lot of it until now. We have tried calling other times as well & had the same problem. It's really too bad that one person who works there will make us not return because we really like this place but ordering ahead to take home is what works best for us. If you dine in, maybe it's fine. Everyone there has always been very nice, it's just this one person that has been making this a bad ordeal. Food was overall good, but came out very slow. Very slow. Only 1 person in the lobby at the time we ordered. Took 20 minutes to get a refill on our drinks.

Got the choriqueso and didn't get chips that were supposed to come with it because we already had the free chips at the table, even though the chori was $7.

Saw multiple people handing food without hairnets, and watched tiny kids walk back in the kitchen area while food was being prepped, and noticed the cooks touching their face ,wiping sweat without washing their hands which is a food service violation.

That same kid that went in the kitchen was blasting random YouTube vids from a phone at full volume. Even after being asked to turn it down by his elder, it fell on deaf ears.

Service was absolutely terrible.

Menu had a decent variety of dishes, and fairly priced. No complaints there.

I doubt I'll come back here. 1st impressions are everything and they failed on too many levels for me to want to return and spend hard earned money.

We order from here often and always 5 star food and drink until tonight. We asked for no ice in the horchata and it was packed with ice. We ordered the loaded fries and paid extra for extra fries, cheese, and meat, it did not have extra of anything on it and the fries were not completely done...they were still crunchy from being frozen. We ordered rice pudding for dessert and it looked like a small portion. So we compared it to a previous container an order of it came in before and tonight's was half the size. Paid same price as previous orders and got half the food and what we got was messed up. Called and talked to the manager and got an apology, but no offer of a discount or replacement of the messed up order. Money wasted, but after thinking on it...we will...
