BIGGBY COFFEE — Restaurant in Parchment

I’ve been a regular customer here for nearly two years, but I have to address an ongoing issue that makes the drive-thru experience uncomfortable. Instead of using a standard card reader or tablet for tips, the baristas verbally ask customers if they’d like to tip during the transaction, and if so how much they’d like to tip. This puts customers in an awkward position of having to decline out loud or feel pressured to tip on the spot. When I asked about this practice, I was told it’s because the cord on their card reader is broken and they can’t hand it to customers. However, this “temporary” solution has been going on for a year and a half now. A cord would be cheap and easy to replace. The fact that this hasn’t been fixed after 18 months suggests it’s either not a priority or has become their preferred method. I've been to several of these locations around southwest Michigan as of late. Mostly because of coupons and veterans day haha, but 3 out of 4 had where wonderful. At one was asked for a tip from the tender. At the price the drinks are and its a drive thru window. Not a bar in a pub with cocktails... located riverview drive kalamazoo mi. Yes they were tipped. The temperature is a bit chill on the hot drinks as well but I don't blame business for bringing down the Temps. I like to drink mine asap, and some you nice folks be serving them hot drinks back to them unfortunately. Shout out to the Chai lattes...

Overall this Biggby is decent. The lattes are good somedays. The somedays they are lukewarm which is very disappointing depending on the barista making the orders.
