Still great food, but when you order a pizza with one topping on the entire pizza, and then a topping on ½ and another topping on the OTHER ½, that is not a 3 topping pizza. It totals 2 toppings. Be advised because server insisted that "Morgan" says it's 3 toppings and that is what we had to pay for. Not happy about that at all. It was 3 different toppings, but two were each only on ½ the pizza. If this is how they are charging now, we won't be getting pizza again. We also had to wait almost 40 minutes for a pizza when there was only 1 other table of 4 and one takeout order being done. Not to mention they put both "half" toppings on one side which is how the server put the order in. Yes pizza was good but it was not what we ordered and we had to pay too much for it. Sweeping up the floor and trying to close up while customers are still eating is not appropriate. If pizza would have been done in an appropriate amount of time, we would not have been there after closing time. Update: Still amazing! The grilled chicken is delicious. Hamburgers are delicious. In my opinion, BEST pizza around, and we are from the Windy City🌬🌪
Love it! Small, hometown restaurant. Good food, good price, good service. Both servers were pleasant...
Read moreI had a takeout order and never have made a review about my takeout experience, until NOW. I'm not sure how it happened but the difference between the food I tasted tonight and the food I ate a month ago.. Night and Day. The last time I did takeout the food should've Never been taken out. Some how, some way, it ended up in my stomach & I'm still paying the price today if you know what I mean. The takeout I just finished was so much gooder & better than my previous experience. I don't know what happened in the kitchen but what came out of it was perfection. I could immediately tell it was made with Love. A month ago it was abusive and I was the victim. Today, perfection with a capital P. Bravo Zulu to the genius behind the madness I just tasted. Stick with it, this is your calling. It's your masterpiece. People will come from all over to experience this truly magnificent hamburger with American cheese, a piece of iceberg lettuce, some purple onions and a few pickles, no EXTRAS. Pay the artist behind the masterpiece and hold on to them at all cost. Give them EVERYTHING and take from them NOTHING.
That's all for now & I hope to not...
Read moreA small diner that has a super personal feel…it reminds me of the mom & pop diners growing up! The menu was surprisingly varied, and we were able to find something for four eaters with very different tastes. Both kids loved their grilled cheeses and fresh French fries! My steak was perfectly seasoned…juicy and perfectly medium rare. The popcorn shrimp were hot and delicious. It actually with quite a lot, especially with a large side of fries! The staff was outgoing and friendly, making us feel very welcome despite walking in 45 minutes before closing. She made the kids giggle and so happy at being complimented for various things. After a long road trip, that means a lot! The best part is just how close this joint is to the KOA! It’s a 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk down a calm road. There’s a large gravel, open lot for parking (no designated spaces, so it’s super easy to find a place). There are probably 10-11 tables and booths—despite the small size, it doesn’t feel packed. It’s a very comfortable place for a family meal! Highly recommend! It was the...
