Just moved to Paris and my Mom and I have been to this charming restaurant twice now. Both experiences here were pleasant and the food was very tasty. First time we enjoyed the delicious salad bar and both had the chicken fried steak. It was crispy and tender. This time I had the monte Cristo, it was very good. It didn't come with a side of jam as it usually would. There were various jellies on the table which worked just fine. My mom ordered the Ruben which was good and had lots of corned beef. It could've used more sour kraut in our opinion. We got a slice of pineapple cake and a chocolate frog to go. The pineapple/cheesecake/cake confection was outstanding, I'd eat that every day if I could. The chocolate frog cake and mouse creation was oh so adorable and the mouse was delicious. We will be returning and continuing to enjoy dining at this wonderful...

My $27 Ribeye looked like it was defrosted in a microwave. Gray with no discernable sear. It ran the gambit from being rare on one end to well on the other. Properly seasoned, at least. Came with canned corn, a decent baked potato and an almost angrily defined ONE trip to the salad bar, which was fine as I did not want another. Worst ranch dressing I've ever tasted. Wife enjoyed her mushroom Swiss burger. Server was very pleasant, but seemed overwhelmed and brought our food to the wrong table. Atmosphere....it's a nice-looking place. However, the angry note about the salad bar and the huge, unnecessary tvs set to Fox News did not give off family restaurant vibes. Everyone other than our server seemed pretty scowly...

I ordered buttered spaghetti, it came without parmesan, so i asked for it. our waitress brought out the shaker, and as i was putting the parmesan on my noodles, i found a piece of paper with letters on it. obviously i sent it back to the kitchen to have it remade, and when she brought me a “new” plate, it was the same spaghetti with parmesan. please note that the noodles originally came WITHOUT parmesan. i sent the plate back again, and she brought me the same plate, with new spaghetti, without the cheese. i know for a fact it was the same plate, BECAUSE THERE WAS PARMESEAN ON THE PLATE, BUT NOT THE NOODLES. never coming back,...

They are under new ownership. The menu has changed and is like a combo of Family Restaurant and Tuscany. You can still choose from the buffet or menu items. They have quite the bar selection, for Paris. Don't forget to save room for dessert. In fact choose your cake when you walk in, from the case. Then just eat it first to be on the safe side. With the generous portion sizes, you are going to leave full!
