Boat House Bar — Restaurant in Park Rapids

At least 1 to 2 times in the summer go to the boat for a nice ride from hibbing on the bikes. There was 4 of us yesterday boat didn't open until 4 so instead of going somewhere else we went inside. Place must have been busy earlier dirty tables everywhere. Only maybe 4 tables with people. Found a clean table. Sat and waited for about ten minutes before we were greeted. Took another 15 minutes to get drinks. Waitress must have been new. She took our order. We ask for a taco salad, fish sandwich which there is only one on the menu but because I didn't say walleye sandwich I got fish and chips with a bun...lol. the taco salad we expected taco meat instead it came with chicken. Which the person had no idea that you had a choice and it seemed the waitress had no idea either. Nobody ever checked back with us so that we could voice our concerns. We order at 2:50 we finally git the food at 4:04. Again place was not busy at one point two more tables came in never got waited on. They up and left. At one point there was no bartender waitress or anybody to be found for a good 10 to 15 minute. We are very understanding people, but this was unreal. Hopefully you can get the staff issues worked out. We did bring this to the the waitress attention all she said is sorry and she would get our bills. Brought us our bills and said I hope I put the drinks on the corrects which were screwed up. But we didn't have another 1/2...

I love the bar tenders. But not partying around cops drinking. It's not my cup of tea. Losing Business like that. Keep your comments to yourself if your off duty & you want to try and make me feel intimidated cause of a past situation between the cop and I. I have my reasons like everyone does. There is a rhyme n reason for everything. Remember that always if u don't see why. Understand it or leave it alone. Maybe one day u will or ... Not. Obviously the weather is a factor when you sit outside in MN at the end of August (it was cool and windy) but we still had a nice time. Atmosphere is great, the set up/arrangement works really well. Our waitress was on top of everything. She was quick with requests and checked on us an appropriate amount of times. Food was also very good. I wasn't very hungry so I shared my SO's meal of ribs and broasted chicken. His ribs were a little dry but the chicken was very moist. I'd recommend this place if you're...
