The TL;DR version: the service and food were adequate, but the cleanliness left something to be desired. If you want to know more, read on. I came to this Carl's Jr for the first time yesterday. It was simple: I had a coupon and I was hungry. The girl behind the counter was great. My only regret is I didn't catch her name as she was wearing a sweater or something over he name tag (if indeed she was wearing a name tag). I ordered my food as dine-in and my friend's as carry-out. The girl placed two separate orders for me and brought out the carry-out a little later so it would still be hot when I left. Not only that, but she had my food out to my table before I even finished at the soda machine. She was like some stealthy Carl's Jr-ninja. The food was what you'd expect from a fast-food chain. Nothing special, but not the worst fast-food by far. That honor goes to the golden arches. Here's where I complain. Okay, not 'complain', per se, but rather I become extremely critical: the dining area wasn't a mess, but it could have used a good once over to get crumbs and other bits of food off some of the tables and chairs. If it had been busy I might have given the restaurant a pass on this, but it wasn't. In fact, at one point a couple of employees were standing around gabbing about whatever it was they were gabbing about while the restaurant looked like that. Had I been their manager I wouldn't have cared if they talked or gossiped like that while they cleaned as long as they were cleaning. And then I went to the men's room. It was horrid. Dried yellow stains (you know what I mean) on the urinal and the toilet, dirty floors and tile that was in serious need of a detox. I get it, I was young once as well - no one wants to clean the bathroom, but you know what? A disgusting bathroom like that makes me question the kitchen's cleanliness. If you can't keep the public areas clean, how are we supposed to trust you keep the private areas sanitized?

Food is fine, but I have two issues with this store. Every time I come here (once or twice each week) an employee is sitting in the dining room watching a video or talking on the phone with the volume so loud the conversation is broadcast to the entire restaurant. It’s often so loud that if I’m using my own headphones I can still hear the speakers clearly. Rude enough when a customer does it, but an employee? The second item is the state of disrepair of the restrooms. The urinal has been broken for a couple of months (Oct-Nov 23). If this is an indication of the owner’s care, it makes me wonder what’s going on in the kitchen.

I had a double Beyond Meat hamburger at Carl's jr. It was absolutely delicious and tasted 100% like meat, actually it was even a bit juicier than the meat. Just be aware that this kind of hamburger comes with all kinds of toppings on it including mayonnaise and the special sauce and lots of vegetables. I only ordered cheese, ketchup and onions, I don't like all those other vegetables.

It genuniely means a great deal that there is an owner actually reading these reviews and using them to improve the experence. I truly continue to wish the best for your store!! 3/9/25. Seems like someone must keep up on these reviews. Happy to say the burger was made correct and there was almost too much sauce 😆. No it was awesome though! Glad the owner cares about their restaurant. I work for one that does not.

2/23/25 It's still pretty good, but whoever cooks on the weekend can't read. This is the 3rd or 4th time now they have missed the extra cheese and sauce I ordered on both sandwiches. More annoying is I've brought this up in person. Nothing lasts forever I guess but when I have to pay for the cheese that's pretty annoying 👎 I'm gonna have to find another weekend vibe if this continues

11/30/24.

Still quite impressed, I order here every weekend. El Diablo and some jalapeno poppers. Or occasionally the 5 piece tenders...Still so glad whoever bought this out a few years ago turned It around. Have minimal bad experiences, always delicious! Always happy to have the confidence knowing my order 4.5/5 times is made correct and well! Unlike years prior. Love the El Diablo!

-older- Heck this place is doing quite well lately. I have not had a bad experience I stop by at least once a week now. The management to me has improved the entire business compared to a few years back. Nice place, decent customer service, plenty good for a fast food.place especially compared to how it was before; sincerely read below from 3+ years ago.

And that's disgusting Sean, no one wants lettuce and tomato on a burger with BBQ sauce etc. 🤮

Now the El Diablo! That burger is so intense and amazing. In moderation no doubt but wow...

(3+ years ago...) This store has no hope. I'm a regular and they still screw up my order almost every time. On occasion it's fantastic and then I go back the next time and it's shit. Not even worth typing up my...

Can't give zero stars, wish I could. Idiots couldn't even take down my order right, took forever to get it and it was wrong, TWICE!!! Never coming back. I'd rather just get my money back but I'm afraid they'd mess that up too. About to eat it, hopefully it's actually decent, my hopes aren't high though. I grew up eating at Carl's jr, this is not my usual experience.

Edit: as expected, they corrected the incorrect items and still reused the good items which by the time I received my corrected order were cold. They overcharged me because the item they rang up wrong was more expensive than what I received. They also upcharged me for fries with my breakfast and I got hash brown bites (I never asked for fries). Granted, the difference was probably only a dollar after it was said and done, but still unacceptable. I would really like for management to contact me. I doubt that will happen though. I'll be in contact with corporate over this. You guys have managed to start my BIRTHDAY off on a bad note. Appreciate it a lot. You should probably drug test your counter kids, I'm pretty sure your new kid was stoned...
