I can't say enough good things about this place! My friend and I arrived later in the evening and weren't sure if they were open. An employee that we saw waved us inside and told us we were welcome to come in. The place is much bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. We didn't have to wait for seating. We were placed in a comfortable booth. The restaurant was very clean and gesrive. The employees were very friendly and very helpful. I ordered fajitas. They were not only amazing tasting, but the portion size was huge! You definitely get your moneys worth! Also, this restaurant had the best carnitas I have ever tasted! Our table was full of wonderful tasting food, and we stuffed ourselves and had plenty to take home. I was pleasantly surprised at the bill. It was very reasonably priced! This restaurant is located on an exit and very easy to get in and out of. There are also gas stations close by in case you need to fill up. There is a nice park close as well! The service was excellent, and the menu was full of a wide variety of food and drink choices. The restaurant also has a bar if you choose to enjoy a drink. We had never been to this restaurant before, but I will be back, and I would tell anyone they need to eat there! I highly recommend this place! The whole experience...
Read moreI am visiting from Texas and had the pleasure of discovering this place along the highway. First, I have to start by highlighting the gorgeous and unique dining room. Tucked away in the back is a cute little bar with a good selection of tequila. The food was delicious. I had Caldo de Pollo (chicken soup) and tacos al pastor. The flavors in both dishes were robust, complex, and authentic. That soup would heal you if you were sick, haha.
I noticed some complaints about the chips, but don’t let that deter you. I found them to be very good—clearly made in-house, and the salsa was flavorful and smooth, not "watery" at all.
The customer service was great, too. Even though I had a to-go order, they went above and beyond by giving me an actual spoon from their kitchen when they ran out of plastic spoons.
I highly recommend this place to all my fellow Texans passing through and anyone else looking for a great little spot.
I added a video because this place was so charming inside—I had to showcase the details and craftsmanship.
PS: For my truckers, there is parking...

Customer Service: 10000/10!!! As I was paying, I asked the owner/manager if I could get one of the plastic CocaCola cups, and said I was happy to pay for one. He ended up giving it to me for free. I tipped very generously on my meal which was $10.
Food: 6.5/10. When you get seated, you are greeted with generous bowl of chips and a bottle of salsa (very typical of a Mexican Restaurant). However, I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the #3 dinner combo which came with a Chile Renello (which was super cheesy), beef burrito (stuffed with meat in a tortilla, with no other condiments), and a beef enchilada. The plate came out piping hot and the plate had lots of extra water/sauces. Maybe strain some of the items and the plate?
Price: Unbeatable (however there are some items that are...
