STOP!!! DON’T ORDER! I ordered food over the phone and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. I arrived 40 minutes later, and it still wasn’t ready and had to wait another 20 minutes on top of that. When the food unwrapped at home, it was a total letdown. The presentation was not appealing at all. The food looked horrible,, the flavors were flat, and nothing was remotely enjoyable. One noodle dish looked like the cook had dumped a whole bottle of soy sauce into it, the noodles were pitch black and inedible. While waiting, I also noticed this place is serving Caribbean/Islander food alongside Chinese food. To me, that says it all: instead of focusing on doing one cuisine well, they’re just throwing anything on the menu to make a buck. There’s zero pride in the cooking here, and it shows. Most of what I ordered went straight into the trash because it was that bad. This was my first visit, and without question, it will be my last. Honestly, I have no idea how this place has managed to get five-star reviews, maybe from people who don’t know what good American Chinese food actually...
Read moreOf all the Chinese take out places I've tried in the area, this one probably the best. BUT
I'm pretty disappointed in the chicken and beef that they use in their dishes. It tastes fake or processed. Plus they slice it all so very thinly as to seemingly cover up the fact that it's not exactly genuine
They also load their dishes with sugar and salt, even dishes that have no business tasting sweet, taste sweet
Also, their servings leave much to be desired, the protein portions of their servings even more so
I understand that these are hard times, but these local restaurants skimping on portions and cutting corners with the type of ingredients that they're using is not doing right by their customers. It won't matter what I say tho, they'll all continue to conduct their business in this way
Will I order again? Maybe as a last resort. The...
Read moreThis place is absolutely the cheapest place I have ever seen.
I was a fairly regular customer around 4 or 5 times a month and sometimes I would get a small won ton soup and they would give me one pack of noodles which is fine but then one night I got a large twice as much and they gave me only one bag of noodles. I thought no reason not to ask for another but when I did they said 50 cents. I said really 50 cents? She said yes. They did this to me with duck sauce a while back as well 50 cents for an extra pack of duck sauce.
I will never go back I will go half a mile up the road where if you ask for an extra duck sauce or noodles they give...
