I decided to try Off the Rails because if you’re from the Eastern Shore you know not many restaurants are open late. After a 30 minute drive to get there, the restaurant was closed for construction but the bar side was open. Walking in, there’s a smell that immediately assaults you like alcohol that has been sitting in a carpet for a long time. The crowd was extremely loud for the 20 or so people that were there. My boyfriend and I considered still getting food but the bartenders weren’t even sure what their kitchen was still able to prepare as they underwent renovations. We asked for clarification as to what foods we could order and still got a vague answer. When we didn’t order alcohol right away, we got ignored as we tried to order food. Ultimately, we didn’t order anything and left as the atmosphere was really uncomfortable and the bar was just gross and unclean looking. I am glad we left as the next day I was talking to my boyfriend’s mom about it and she told me that a few months prior she had gotten food poisoning from them and needed to go to the hospital. I was considering trying them when the restaurant reopened but at this point, I’m thinking it probably wouldn’t be a good idea. John Taffer would be disgusted with this...

We were warmly welcomed by David, who quickly became our favorite person during our stay. He was friendly, got our orders spot on, and even gave us great tips on places to visit, including information about the local farmer's market that weekend.

The service was also great. Off The Rails was exactly what we needed for a spontaneous dinner plan upon...

If no one's paying a dollar a song for the juke box, u just sit their in silence. People always complain that they spend $40 on music and still have to sit in silence. I don't want to pay a $20 cover charge, then u stop serving me at 11:30 while 50 people are their. Also, if u call ahead and ask what time cover starts they say 8, but sometimes they'll charge you at 7:40. They're too greedy. All of the club car regulars hate it. They penny pinch their regulars...
