First let me state that I am the former GM of this location so my opinion comes as both a customer and a former employee and isn’t completely without bias.
As a customer this pizza isn’t great, toppings are often cold and pizzas have an uneven cook. The ingredients taste cheap and the cheese is bland. I hope they’re able to correct these small issues and create a better product.
As a former employee the owner lacks all decorum. He refers to his employees families as distractions and doesn’t allow them in the restaurant unless they pay. He demands that his management leads by example but doesn’t follow his own standards. When customers would come in and complain about prices, I was told to send them to Little Caesars!!! That’s the mentality here. Cheap ingredients, small portions and max profit.
I ask all of you to try this pizza and make your own minds up. I can understand in a small town how this might be the best thing around, but just try it.
This is of course a personal opinion and is in no way meant to drive business away from this company but after eating here and working here I can’t endorse this place. The owner has since banned me, ( A disabled Veteran), my wife and our three children from his restaurants. All in all I am happy this happened and that I have parted ways with FanCave, if not allowing my family to be mistreated and choosing them over an employer is wrong, imma be wrong 100% of the time, all day every day!!! I wish them the best in spite...
Read moreNot the worst place but it needs some help, badly. It was to expensive for the portion size, the deep dish is not a deep dish, its a pan pizza. The chocolate dessert pizza bread had garlic butter/salt on the breading (made no one in the house want it). I will say even though the pizza isnt technically correct it is a pretty good pizza overall in terms of flavor. The service is also kinda up in the air. Ive had worse but there is much better. Also, can we please start cutting the pizzas into normal pizza slices? What is this random cutting that looks like someone just chopped away at the pizza until it had some random edible pieces? Idk, it needs some help it seems and this is in no way the fault of the kids that have to work there on there own in super busy sessions. I came in with only 3 people working I could see, all of which in HS and they were stressed to the max with the amount of orders and people around. A 20min call-in took an hour. If just a few things could be fixed this place could easily be the best pizza place around Parsons. For now its just overpriced and not worth the effort...
Read moreWe might be back. Lexington store. Old Roma location. I didn't see a Google map place card / location for this location. They've only been open for a couple of days and seem to be finding their stride. We went there at lunch and carried it home....so 'service' is subjective. The crust was like a soda cracker, thin crust. It was good - not overcooked. Held the toppings without folding. Toppings: taste was good. Volume of toppings could have been better. Sauce was tangy and had a good flavor profile. Extra cheese was actually 'extra'. Overall? 16' pizza for $39.12 seems a bit steep as I can get the same size with equal or more toppings 'across the street' for ~$20. I hope they can make a "go" of it. A buffet would/might add foot traffic but a good buffet is difficult to manage and may be beyond what they want to tackle.
Responding to Fan Cave Pizza: Thanks for your comments. Yes the 3 stars were based on only the price. We were there on Monday. 2/17. Our pizza (Head Coach + extra cheese) was ordered as take-out. We gave the cashier $40.12 and received $1...
