Brookside Restaurant — Restaurant in Pasadena

We moved into the area a year ago and have spent most of our weekends searching for our perfect "Weekend Breakfast Restaurant." That search ended a couple of months back when we stumbled across the Brookside Golf Course Restaurant.

The food is FANTASTIC, generous portions, and at the most reasonable prices we've found anywhere in Los Angeles. My wife and I get out for under $30 for the both of us (tip included).

It also offers a wonderful view of the course and the staff is always very friendly and gracious (Janelle is our favorite server, always greeting us with enthusiasm and a genuine smile).

DO NOT have high expectations at Brookside restaurant. If anything, just visit these restaurant for the decent view of the golf course they have; nothing else. Food is less than ok (it taste frozen and chef won't even make any tiny changes on ANY food order, even if it's totally doable...), the service is OK but last time went there, we tried to pay cash and the server told us that they can't give change back to the costumers. That was a major disappointment. I hope the manager improves costumer's...

I met up with my former bosses and co-worker from work. We sat outside in the patio area looking at the golfers practice their tees. The atmosphere was great.

The server we had was very attentive, courteous and very friendly. Our food came quickly too.

The only complaint I have is no parking. All the parking close to the restaurant were all taken by the golfers. If you want to park close including the handicap, follow the golfers who is leaving to park close.
