I’ll usually do the loop prior to or after attending stadium events. Here’s a beautiful setting with scenery for a relatively short hike! Brookside Park and Rose Bowl Stadium lots and restrooms are available to the public. There’s several hillside nature trails connecting from the loop, adding more of a semi-wilderness experience to the hike. For points of reference, I’d use the Rose Bowl Stadium for one, with the long parking lot south of the main entrance, the Arroyo aqua-duct on the westside and a golf course, on the backside.
