McDonald's — Restaurant in Pasadena

I liked coming to this Macdonalds since it's on my way home. Not anymore!!my daughter and i came to get food in the evening. My daughter got an order of the big mac meal ,mind you it was not busy at all. I made a separate order that were paid separately for two hamburger patties. When she got her order I told the guy I hadn't gotten mine,he said sorry and went to get my two patties,the night shift manager came to the window to tell me very rudely that my patties had gone into my daughters big mac. I asked her why if I had order them separately, obviously it was for another person. She slammed the window and the guy brought me my patties in a little box with onions. The manager said since they had replaced the big mac with the patties I paid for I was getting the ones that came with big mac. I never mentioned I wanted my daughters burger patties to be replaced. I only paid 4.00 for those patties,so I wasn't going to get into it with that manager,that has no customer service whatsoever. She looked annoyed and gave me dirty looks for asking for what I had paid for. I had to dispose of the patties since they had onions on them and they were for my puppies, which can't have onions because onions are...

I will not return to this McDonald's ever again. The girl taking my order clearly did not listen to me. I ordered two happy meals and a spicy deluxe mccrispy sandwich meal. I told her coke for the drink when I ordered the meal. She asked if I wanted the sandwich or the meal. Why would I say coke if I didn't want the meal? I had to repeat coke at least three times. And I asked for extra ketchup three times. Did not get any ketchup with my meal. My deluxe sandwich did not have lettuce or tomatoes. They didn't give me the apple juice I ordered for the happy meals. She girl taking my order asked what size, I said regular/medium. She upsized my drink without asking. When leaving, I asked for a refill from a different lady and she gave me the refill. Then the girl that took my order asked if they charged me for it. Since when is McDonald's charging for refills? You give crappy service, give me an incomplete order, and don't make my sandwich right; and you want to charge for refills(that costs them pennies)? Are you freaking kidding...

I can't remember ever being so disappointed with a McDonald's ... and I have been to literally hundreds all over the country and even overseas.

Dirty tables, NO tray. Late afternoon, just after 5 p.m., before rush hour started. Even though I told them that I wanted dine-in, they put my order in a bag.

We don't even want to talk about their restroom.

Yes, this is a very busy location and the clientele is definitely most predominantly working-class.

Ironically the co-located Shell station was immaculate. Their fueling lanes were cleaner than the McDonald's restaurant.

Their "TimeWise" convenience store was well-stocked and very attractive. Even so, one of their workers was scurrying about cleaning windows and putting out fresh bags in the trash cans.

Food was below average for a McDonald's.

There is obviously a management problem here. The stark contrast with the co- located Shell station and "TimeWise" convenience store is very telling. Shell obviously has a monopoly on leadership at...
