I used to come in here everyday for the last couple years but as of the last couple months the food and service have been horrible.... Not only did it start making me sick every time I ate it but one of the last times I went I called it in waited ten mins before I left and still waited for over a half hour before I finnaly asked for my money back and then left. Ever since then evrey thing I order they seem to be out of (especially the special) and sure enough the last time I ate there (only because they were the only place open) it got me sick again. Read moreI never tried pupusas, and I heard this place makes the best in town. I think I heard right. I ordered the pupusa Revuelta, Chicharron, and Queso. I highly recommend the Revuelta! It's the traditional El Salvadorian mix of cheese, beans, and pork. The Chicharron was also delicious. The Queso was good, but nothing special. The pupusas were beautiful golden brown delicious pillowy cakes filled with great combinations of flavors, ready to be topped with coleslaw and salsa. There’s literally about 20 other places within 2 miles that offer similar cuisine (Salvadoran/Mexican), so it should say something that this spot stands out above the rest.
