i have never had a bad experience until last night when i had got food poisoning from their food i had gotten deep fried cod and french fries with bacon and cheese which the cod was undercooked on the inside and over cooked on the outside the fries and bacon were tough and stale and tasted like they heated it up in a microwave the service was poor due to the fact it was not a busy night and i had to wait damn near 2 and a half hours to get food that takes 30 min or less. the environment was alright tables were a little dirty i would not recommend sitting in to eat because it will just apparently take two hours to get food that takes 25 min normally i had sat there for two hours last night and ended up storming out because of it there was not alot of orders coming in and one of the older female workers was sitting on the company phone yapping her chops away not even writing down orders they hadn't had any calls for orders as the girl at the front desk takes them and she was always there i counted almost 13 orders come out before my order yet we ordered at 6:43pm and we stormed out at 7:11pm we didn't get a time it would be done at or anything so thanks for the food poisoning. was not worth almost 70$...

Great small town eating. Thursday night they do breakfast. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. This was incredible! Chicken fried steak was served on a bed of hash browns and a piece of texas toast. All smothered in sausage gravy - with chunks of sausage! Truly amazing. Have never had a bad meal there any other day, but the Thursday night breakfast definitely makes this a crave worthy...

We like to find different restaurants in area small towns. We came across JW's and really enjoyed the friendly staff/customers, best cheeseballs my husband & I have had. Crispy breading without the cheese blowout! Husband had the steak sandwich. Succulent, tender, 2 thumbs up, I had a BLT, YUM! We will return to Paullina to dine again for sure. ...
