Wait staff is inattentive and I had to practically yell to get some attention, second time we sat right beside the kitchen, so we could get the wait staff if needed easier.

Food was good. First time I had the fajita Nachos, with beef and chicken. Recommended chicken. Beef was slightly over done.

Second time eating I had the tilapia and shrimp with a bed of rice with queso over all. I enjoyed it.

After finishing our meal, it took a few tries to get our waiters attention. Both visits. First visit, I was charged for someone else's check. Staff was able to fix the issue but it took about 15 mintues.

Second time I used the QR code on the receipt and was able to make a payment myself with my debit card without leaving my table.

El Jalisco Bar & Grill feels like an American take on Mexican food.

Food is good. But be patient with staff, all seem to have tunnel vision. They did act polite when you finally get their attention. Keep in mind time as this is not a "fastfood" restaurant. Expect...

Face it, it's just hard to find great Mexican food in Oklahoma! El Jalisco was good not great in taste. Not a ton of flavors, but not bad tasting either. Their jalapeno salsa helped a lot. The other salsa is weak. I had the combo with beef enchilada, taco and tamale. The tamale was pretty good the others bland. My wife had a chicken taco salad and said that the chicken was good and plentiful. Atmosphere is really very good considering it's in such a small town. Service was pretty good as well. I just feel like good Mexican food is so hard to find because good Mexican chefs are afraid of putting flavor and spices into their food since most of their customers are Gringo's. This place has all the elements of being a fantastic restaurant if they would turn it up a notch in the kitchen. I will be back and try something different and hopes of this...

First off "seat yourself if you can find a clean table" hahaha. This place is so terrible ...I loved it, we had the one waiter David, who could actually do his job, I really appreciated him, but other than that omg this place is *special, I've never laughed harder at how terrible a place this was. I mean this place is really terrible but on the other hand I've never laughed so much, watched customer after customer not get service, it was really appalling, I'm not even sure why this is open, don't go in thinking it's functional in any sense. The dysfunctionality really made my mother's day. Oh goodness it was so bad, I've never laughed harder at the goings on's of a place. The five stars is purely for David. Other...
