Food was alright, came out relatively quick. Loved the fried rice, beef teriyaki was a little tough, duck sauce was grainy. I would go back for the food because it was slightly average but definitely won’t be my go to place that’s for sure. The service? Horrible. They seemed friendly at beginning however when it came to paying, I had gotten two certificates and wanted to use them to see if this place was good considering I’d never heard of them, the person who took them seemed confused or annoyed with that payment option. I was planning on paying for the drinks and then leaving the tip with that but because I was with a group once we got the bill back we were going to decide how much we were all going to tip ( not based off drink price but off total price of what everything cost ) however before we were even able to, the person came back saying how much we had still on the certificates which I don’t plan on using, but we said thank you and he just stood there and asked what about my tip? I was a server and didn’t intend on leaving without giving a tip, I do however find it extremely unprofessional to demand a tip and stand and stare down a table until handed money. We felt so uncomfortable we didn’t even decide how much to leave and left 5$ which I know we could’ve left more but we felt so uncomfortable that we just wanted him to go away so we could leave. Advice?? If you have a favorite Chinese food place, don’t bother with this place... it is nothing special and you probably get better service at your usual spot. I usually leave about 10$ just me and my bf and I wouldve left more but felt uncomfortable. Not a great first experience and most likely will never return and I suggest you spend your time and money at...
Read moreWe initially searched for a chinese food restaurant in Peabody and found this one and thought it was going to be good. We asked if they had a buffet and they did not, so then we decided to order off the menu. There was no kids menu so we had to order everything off a regular menu. We ordered chicken and cashews, pork lo mein, sesame chicken, and a side of lo mein for my daughter. When the food came out it looked nothing like any chinese food i’ve ever seen or tasted. Everything tasted burnt, the rice was bland and disgusting. The chicken was slimy and made my son gag. The entrees were watered down and lacked any flavor or seasoning. It’s pretty bad when my youngest daughter eats almost anything but literally refused to eat anything they served. The waitress then asked my son to keep eating his food, and he was trying to be nice by taking a couple bites, but when she walked away he spit out the food in a napkin and started crying. I would not recommend this place. We wasted 75 dollars for four people on lousy food that made us sick to our stomachs after. I would rather die than...
Read moreSORRY, this post is not a nice one. No one was in the parking lot except for employees who all parked closest to the door to include the handicap spot. Against my better judgment, I figured, Naaaaaah, lets give them a try . GO WITH YOUR INSTINCTS FRANKIE!!! I definitely was not impressed. Ever feel like when you walk into a place you ARE a burden to be said hello to BY STAFF OR for even choosing their restaurant for a late lunch. Yup, I definitely got the message/VIBE. Unfortunately, the CONTINUED SERVICE AND Food was not all that either and needless to say, THREE STRIKES, YOU'RE OUT!!! Maybe it's a place to go have a few drinks after 10 pm but BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE I would not recommend it/ at least get high hopes If you discover differently, let me know in case I just showed up at a bad time, day, month, year.l or life!😂 Give it a try if you like, and maybe it will be better after they see this posting. I do not wish Bad on them, but owners should be aware in case...
