Just In Time Café — Restaurant in Peabody

Firstly I want to start this with the cuisine is excellent, the staff are great and the location is super convenient.

Coffee and Tea are the best you can find for a small café in the area, however.......

Just in Time? More Like Half Hour Past Time.

Every experience is that they are slammed and it has been like that the past several months, I ordered three breakfast sandwiches online and upon arrival I was told they were currently working on it, okay not a problem as it was rush hour for breakfast... then I waited a half hour on my morning break from work sitting in front of the staff. I get up and ask for a credit at least if the food was not ready as I really needed to get back to work. The gentleman handed me my food and said sorry we were busy, yes I have seen this upon multiple occasions but if you are going to continuously to say that and not recognize that you are having a quality issue over that then either shut down the online ordering or offer something to appease your customers, like a simple coffee would have sufficed. Also note in this exchange they did not have any avocado on my sandwich which I was charged extra for said request, I found this out after returning to work to scoff down my food. They have screwed up my order before completely forgetting a sandwich and they called me ASAP that they forgot it in which I went back to get said sandwich in which I was like absolutely no problem as this was my 2nd time ordering from there, which to my surprise they threw in 2 home made cookies which were incredible, just for the inconvenience.

Good food, very popular, super convenient, however...

At first appearance, good healthy food with excellent coffee and smoothie options. Don't be fooled though. Very pricey, small portions and of the dozenish times I've ordered lunch from here, something in my order always seems to get screwed up. For example, no mayo/lettuce on a BLT, none of the condiments ordered on an Italian, or getting a small sandwich when you order a large. Very little effort on part of manager to correct issue and retain my business, even with them knowing I drove back from work to get my correct food. Won't be spending my money here anymore, plenty of other options around that make food correctly on the first try.

In response to the owner: This review is in response to the multiple order screw-ups over the past 8 months. You claim I never brought it to your attention, this is the 3rd time I have handed my mis-made food to YOU specifically when returning. No attempt to "scar" your reputation, you did that to yourself. Also, in what universe does a BLT not have lettuce and mayo? It legit says on the menu. Clearly your response was done after a hasty glance over my comment as you aren't even correctly referencing...

Order using DD the other day and was blown away by the size and quality of the food... Being a Diabetic, it was a pleasant surprise to find so many sugar free options.

Have now Order for the 3rd time now and can say without a doubt, this place is one of the best breakfast places around... looking forward to trying out some lunch options in the near future....

So I hate to do this, but I have to add to my review.. so I just ordered a chicken sandwich with Swiss, light mayo, and pickles, toasted... And I wanted 3 Pumpkin muffins... my sandwich had lettuce and tomatoes on it, ok not the end of the world, but not what I ordered..

But my biggest problem was We got Banana Nut muffins instead of Pumpkin muffins and my mother is allergic to Nuts, luckily we noticed right away and she luckily didn't eat it... You NEED to be more careful, someone else could have gotten very sick...
