I don't think I'll be going back. There were a lot of issues and I can't tell if it was the fault of the waitress, the management, or the kitchen. But for starters, the wait time for our waitress to come to our table was long. Long enough that we were able to look at the menus, figure out what we wanted, and then lookup the menu for the restaurant across the street and considering if we should just go there instead.
I also had two children with me but I think my waitress actually gave them adult meals and drinks. I noticed their cups were the same as my own, while other kids at other tables had smaller Styrofoam cups. One of my kids orders also came out wrong. But I'm not sure if it's just that the waitress couldn't hear us clearly. I did notice that the music was uncomfortably loud.
The food itself was good. I really liked the shrimp kabob appetizer, and the fish & chips came out alright, except I was not expecting the spiral fries. The menu was not quite was I was hoping for though. I was hoping for some more shrimp options, like a simple fried shrimp basket. All together my bill came out to about $100 for two kids and two adults. But with the overall experience, I didn't feel it was worth it.
Lastly, they have a "no concealed carry" sign. Not something I would expect from a restaurant that has signage up that they support veterans...
Read moreMartins is a great place to boat into. at the moment, they have plenty of dock space to use. the restaurant is new, so give them some grace. it was very busy when we went, so the service was a little slow and spotty at times. sandwich was good, but the fries were only warm and a little mushy. drinks were cold, and the servers were pleasant. It was a good experience overall and I'm looking foward to giving them more business in the future. (second experience) even worse. it took our waitress 10 min to get to the table with water. we ordered drinks and wings. after 20 min my drink was empty for 10 min. I went to the bar for a second. they had put plus st a high top built for 6. the table we half full and another group of 8 sat down at the end of the table and claimed it as theirs. we asked to be moved outside. request was granted. 50min after arrival the 10 wings we reordered were delivered. I should have asked for the ticket then. 15 min later I tracked our waitress down and asked her to get our ticket please. I'm still waiting. seems like another waitress is going to get it now. I can say now that I'm pretty dissatisfied. both experiences have been less then awesome. at this point there are wait staff crawling around this place and it's getting around half full. I'll buy my beer at food lion...

My family and I had the pleasure of visiting this stunning lakefront bar and grill, and we were blown away by the beautiful architecture and breathtaking views of Lake Murray.
