Krystal — Restaurant in Pearl

On Thursday Oct. 24th a member of my family went in to the Pearl Krystal with a rather large order due to the fact that we had a death in the family and had a lot of out of town relatives here for the visitation on this night and the funeral the following day. He placed an order for 100 krystals & 20 fries knowing and understanding it would take some time to prepare. The female behind the counter (idk if it was the manager or not & her name tag was covered with a sweater) did NOT want to take his order. He told here that was fine, he would go some where that would. At that point she decided she would take the order but got smart with him telling him that he would have to wait a while. He told her he already knew they didn't have 100 ready in the back and he would have to wait. She then proceeded to inform him of the cost saying "you do know that is gonna be close to $100 don't you?" and she WOULD NOT take the order for the fries. She refused to cook the 20 orders of fries he wanted. It was around 8 pm. Not even close to closing time. She was rude and did not want to help him out at all. I wish I knew her name and I hope there is someone in management that actually reads these reviews and will address the issue. She does not need to work for this company if she is refusing service...

Updated 1-11-24 If you come to this location expect to wait for your food. There is nothing fast about this place. 19 minute wait for a 4 Krystal combo. Ridiculous. And there were no other customers inside or at the drive thru. There is no excuse why it took19 minutes for 4 employees to produce 1 combo meal. I could have made the same food at home from scratch in that amount of time. Then my fries were cold too.

Its the only place close to home that is open after midnight besides Waffle House. Thats a plus. The cashier was very very nice also a plus. But the food was mediocre. I ordered the pick five. I got 2 cheese Krystal's no pickle 1 chilli cheese pup Fries And a Coke Krystal fries usually suck so I expected that. They were almost cold. My chilli cheese pup bun was hard and there was way too much mustard. My Coke was watered down. The sliders were good though. No complaints there. I'm sure I'll go back but this experience only...

Update this location still needs a facelift went through the drive thru last night as usual , 10 minutes waiting by the window with no one in sight, finally the lady who appeared to be the only one in sight gave us the food which was a simple order of chili cheese fries ! What’s the hold up for that ?? Today 6/01 about 7 mins ago I tried to order an Oreo shake and the machine is down !!!? What’s going on with this location ? Corporate needs to come in and clean sweep and add a full staff and get these machines working !!? What the heck that’s lost revenue when everything is not available this is annoying !! You literally can’t eat here the wait time is insane and the machines are always not working allegedly !!!!
