I understand it's a small town but, has customer service gone out the window? I always tell my clients if they go to Pecos,nm they can't miss Frankies at the Casanova. Well, I am never recommending this place ever again. First, you seat yourself if you can find a clean table. Second, our waitress seemed to be avoiding us at all costs, we had to ask for refill on ice tea while the waitress flirted with what I assumed to be as regular patrons. I heard the waitress being very rude to the other employees there as well. I put that to her age and experience level with customer service. Finally when we were ready to leave and our plates were empty they were still on our table, no prebussing, nor did anyone come and check to see if we needed anything to accommodate our meals. I already was disappointed, I go to pay the waitress said "your total is ..." i hand her my card "credit or debit? Are you leaving a tip?" I said "what did you say" she repeated "are you leaving a tip" i asked "how long have you been in food service? Anyone in food service that knows customer service would never be so rude to assume they automatically get a tip if I pay on my card! I may have wanted to leave a cash tip, gratuity isn't automatic it is earned and frankly my dear you have earned nothing.! Try to be a little more professional, your boss Bob and Brian will appreciate it!" As we leave I see one of the owners Bob sitting with local patrons I wave and say good bye. As we are driving away, Bob comes out to our car and says how we aren't welcome to his restaurant any more!!!!!! Wow, just wow! My husband and I aren't welcome due to wanting professionalism when we enter a business!?? I did food service for a total of 15 years 1 of those years I worked for Frankies at the Casanova and I gave every single person the respect they deserved for coming in and wanting our business. I guess I was raised differently! In conclusion, if you want to be treated with respect and dignity do NOT DINE AT FRANKIES AT...
Read moreI was here because of a lunch meeting; I never would have chosen this broken-down dump. Service was terrible, and when I paid, it got even worse. I was at a table of 4 and charged a specific tip because of a "large party." I refused to pay it. If they would relax, I would tip more! I tipped ten on 30 (paid for 2 people...5 each). How's that? Give people a chance to be generous and cease this practice. Also, a friend ordered and 30 minutes later, with 3 attempts to check on it, her omelette never showed. [THIS IS ACCURATE, though the owner wants to dispute it). From her order time to finally getting the order properly placed, was 30 min. Who cares when she cane in? The last time she checked, the waitress had a deer in the headlights look and then went in and placed the order in the kitchen. It was never ordered. She ate alone after we were finished. The place was busy and they just cannot function with hectic atmospheres, I guess. About 3 orders were completely wrong. One: a stated vegetarian asked for no meat, or bacon, specifically, and her dish had 2 huge pieces of bacon covering the food (not even on the side)!? The solution? They took it right off and gave her the dish. It was good she was not a Muslim or Jew... The owner says there were too many changes. I am doing a review and I ordered AS-IS off the menu. Carnitas, with corn tortillas...no drink ordered, not even water. I had zero modifications. I got flour tortillas. 10 min later, I got the corn, when more than half finished. Whatever. I will never visit again. PS, the parking lot is a potholed combo of gravel, dirt, and dead grass. Have fun if you go. The owner's response is ludicrous. I was at a 4 top. I happened to know the people celebrating a birthday at the other table. I am talking about my experience. Rating me back...for what? Leaving tip equal to 1/3 of the bill? This shows the service plan...
