Novak Food and Drinks — Restaurant in Pecos

Food is descent, beer is cold, service is slow and understaffed. The 2 waitresses that were working did not hustle. They acted as if they had no concept of time. Food sat on the counter for nearly 10 minutes before they would pick it up and deliver it to the customer. They need to hire a new manager and more staff, they should be able to afford it at 21.00 per steak. Edit: I returned for another visit... My mistake! Service was horrible, steak was not good, did not receive what I ordered, place caters only to Spanish speaking customers. Any English song on the juke box gets skipped! Every part of the experience was disappointing and not worth my hard earned money! I will never set foot in there...

One of the biggest things to consider is your customers in any industry. Unfortunately coming here results in being ignored and staff ignoring simple manners such as please, thank you, and come again (etc). You get bartenders ignoring the customers at the bar being on their phones or chatting with groups of people away from the bar and attitudes for anyone who might consider staying for last call. Horrible experience, I would suggest freddy's ice box for anyone who has to stay...

Ordered the carne asada tacos after having to call 6 times before someone even answered the phone. Pulled up, and the place looked pretty run down and dirty. The inside was dirty also, should’ve just left right then. The pictures on the online menu are very deceiving. I was not expecting an old, dirty bar. Got home with the food, which looked good & it was a pretty large portion. Take one bite & find a hair, and there goes my appetite. I won’t ever eat...
