Triple G's Food Store — Restaurant in Pell City

Female cashier with short hair & glasses needs to learn a thing or two about customer service. She refused to turn on the pump for an elderly gentleman who was trying to get gas because “she couldn’t see his face” It was obvious the man did not understand why the pump wasn’t working. He was also hard of hearing and had trouble standing up straight. As he struggled with the pump, she kept screaming “I will not turn on the pump until you show me your face” I heard her yell this at him three times, before another customer went out to offer him some assistance. The cashier was hateful, loud & rude, not just to the man pumping gas.... but to every one...

A lot of people love this place and visit daily. (The owner is a good honest person). The staff stays busy while serving the many customers daily.They have a dining area to sit and enjoy a delicious southern cooked lunch special with fresh vegetables, meats, desserts and drinks. Also all day everyday they sell hotdogs (kept in a warmer), fix it yourself with a condiment bar provided. Also there are pre-made kept hot BBQ, chicken sandwiches, hamburgers and cheeseburgers to choose from. If your in the mood for a cold cut sandwich, they have those too. What a great lunch. Hamburger steak and gravy. Meat was thick and big around. Gravy was rich and dark with grilled onions. Vegetables, white corn and green beans, we're very good. Corn was naturally sweet and creamy, green beans were zesty with a full white pepper??? flavor! Peach cobbler was as sweet as a Bama debutante on coming out night. The restaurant was well lit, neat, roomy and very clean. The staff was helpful to this Newby to their steam table. Very friendly with answers concerning their items.
