Nonno's Pizza — Restaurant in Pennsylvania

My wife picked up a carryout order consisting of an Italian sub, garlic bread w/ cheese, shrimp basket w/ fries and a "Dillsburg Texan Burger sub". The bad - The garlic bread w/ cheese consisted of a roll sliced down the middle and both of the insides are coated w/ garlic butter. Then cheese is sandwiched in and melted. This made it impossible to spread apart as the cheese stuck to one side, so you're forced to eat it like a sub. I've never gotten garlic bread w/ cheese in this manner before. Next was the shrimp basket w/ fries. The fries were bland and tasteless, and the shrimp had a bizarre cardboard or wooden taste to it. I don't know if it was related to the oil in the fryer or the shrimp or both. No tartar or cocktail sauce was provided. Then it was time for the Dillsburg Texan sub. This is a sub w/ burger, onion rings, cheese and BBQ sauce. I honestly cannot remember a time I bit into something so incredibly disgusting to the point where I had to immediately spit it out. All I could taste was the BBQ sauce and whatever was supposed to pass for "burger". I pulled it apart and I'm still not entirely certain it was beef. It had a burnt rubber taste to it, like chewing rubber bands. I could see they were formed patties, clearly frozen and cheap. I couldn't get the taste out of my mouth for a while. So all three of those items went into the trash. Money wasted, lesson learned. The good: My wife enjoyed her Italian sub and she said the staff were extremely friendly. This was my second and last time eating from this establishment. The first was a year prior when I tried their pizza and I vowed never to get that again. ...

We have gotten subs from here many times and we’re pleased! But recently we have been eating healthier so ordered some salads this time. The last time the salad would have been great but the crispy chicken left such a nasty taste it my mouth like they haven’t changed their frying oil in a while. I decided to give it another try by ordering a different salad. This time we were getting ready to hit the road and went in to order to go. I got the chef salad this time. When the food was ready we jumped in the car and ate on the road. When I opened the salad there was an egg that had GRAY yoke and they were bad. I was so upset, I took them off and took a picture. We couldn’t even turn around and go in and show them and demand a new salad! I tried to eat the salad without the eggs, used honey mustard dressing and all I tasted was bitter. I never ate here and will never eat Let me tell you about my experience. I came in to this place and first asked the employee to use the restroom he showed me the way. When I came out someone was blocking the door and try to scared me and didn’t let me out and told me I need to buy something to use the restroom, that second i decided in my head I will not buy nothing only cuz the rude way and try to be scary. I told him politely I didn’t know but next time I’ll buy. He repeat himself few times and didn’t let me go while standing the door until I told him can you pls let me out , while he told me you can go but you need to buy something and still blocked the door.
