After a bad day I wanted to make a nice evening date night for my wife. Nice night and nice view on the golf course. We made a 6:15 reservation could not get seated till 6:25 (clearing tables) but our table was open and ready upon our arrival.?Normal wait for drinks. My wife’s mixed drink was very good. To bad the beer I ordered was flat and watery. Took over an hour for our two sandwiches and sides to come out. About thirty minutes after we ordered the waitress came over one time and said that our one item was “greenlit” and ready they were still waiting out the other food. Once our food got to the table my fries and burger were luke warm at best. I was up charged for the fries, as stated on the menu but they were not plain fries they had old bay type seasoning on them. Not stated in the menu. My wife’s crab cake was luke warm as well. We picked over our food, paid and left. They had a great singer on the patio but too bad that the venue was not so great to keep me there to listen and enjoy. Definitely won’t be back for the price of items and for the food to come out almost room temperature especially seafood.

So it’s the dreaded Friday 5pm night and everyone can’t agree where to go! Soooo We tried this place in Dillsburg and we were not disappointed. Dillsburgs’ best keep secret & I almost don’t want to post this!!! The great food is back in Dillsburg Pa. 1st off, we walked in because nobody knows it’s under a new establishment name …and the deck was open. The deck is beautiful and we got a great “golf course greens” settings!! Waitress Shelby is a work horse!!! Great beer even better ….superb mix drinks ….we can’t complain. Best kept secret! We would have waited in a line at any place in Mechanicsburg or Camp Hill @ 5-5:20 pm. Their Food was on point and I almost hate telling a mass amount of people how good it is! Prices are about the same as anywhere else, also the availability of seating at any time is far superior… Hope to see you all there!! Ps. All waitress were busy working, but Shelby is our girl!!!!

We've often enjoyed brunch here at Greystone and now that they were open again for brunch we decided to check out the updated menu with take out. I got the Pastrami Beef Hash and overall, it was pretty good, but I was missing the biscuit and some of the potatoes were barely cooked. My wife got the Kitchen Sink and it looked amazing. She really enjoyed it. We also tried the Soft Pretzel Cinnamon Bun (I thought it was really good!) and the Bourbon Apple French Toast (missing the whipped cream, but still delicious). The new brunch menu at Greystone is great (although I have to say I missed the chicken and biscuits) and you should give it a try!

Here for father's day luncheon. Party of 4 Son Daughter and grandson. We were seated in the lower level. It started off great but quickly turned sour with the server. Both my son and myself ordered the R+R Open face, he got the chicken and I got the Beef short ribs. I ordered the Wagyu chili, and my grandson always gets the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich, and finally my daughter loves the Margarita flatbread pizza. We have never had bad service here before and today was not a true depiction of our experience eating here. So what went wrong. I ordered the Wagyu chili and after I was finished the server asked me what I thought of the chili. I said the chili was excellent except the sour cream and cheese, were very cold and it filled half of my cup. The chili was now cold with half sour cream and cheese and it took away for the fantastic Wagyu chili. It was excellent. If you don't want to know the truth.... don't ask the question. She now became very cold and quiet because she took as a direct reflection on her. Unless she filled the cup it wasn't her fault. Now for the rest of the food... .It was a homerun. the open face was outstanding, we were all happy with the food. After paying the bill we were leaving and as we were climbing the steps the bartender and other server said Happy Father's and and we all exchanged goodbyes... EXCEPT OUR SERVER NEVER LOOKED UP AND SAID NOTHING. Had we had known she would take this attitude we wouldn't have left 25% tip. NOW SHE HAS LEFT A SOUR TASTE IN OUR MOUTHS. Here I am writing a very negative review. Believe me I have written a lot of reviews traveling 14 weeks per year. 90% positive. I hate writing these but if you don't know the truth about you service and it will continue on the same path. I believe the other servers knew what was going on and were very friendly upon our exit. I know 1 review on you service does nothing, but a history of bad service you will pay attention. I believe a bad egg is a bad egg. Will this prevent us from making another trip there???? NO. We love your food. You just need to know what is happening.

A concern...

Edit: We have visited Range and Rye a couple of times for business lunches since it reopened. Our guests have enjoyed their meals & drinks and we've had wonderful service. I really appreciate the improved lunch menu - it's a great place for lunches with vendors or customers now!

Everytime I go to Greystone, I'm always excited to see the delicious menu & love the atmosphere. If I had one wish to make this restaurant 5 stars, it would be step up the service to match the carefully curated food. Everytime we go, it feels a bit like the servers are working for a cheap bar & grill, not really attentive or paying attention to the details (maybe they have not been given that expectation?). We are not told what the special(s) are even though I see pictures of them on Facebook. We'll be left with a table full of dirty dishes when the main course arrives, no one clears the table (they just fit the plates of beautifully presented food in around piles of used dishes). The server is chatting it up with folks she knows, rather than checking on us to make sure our food came out ok, getting us another drink & later clearing our table to give us room or asking if we need boxes. Then the check for $100+ comes & I feel hard pressed to justify a $20 tip. The food was certainly worth the price but the service,...

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR EVENTS! A few weeks ago we spent over $5,000 to host a 50th birthday party. We had a fully catered event for 60+ people. Not only did we have to request for the food to continue to be restocked when empty, but not all the food purchased was even served. 3/4 of the way through the event, the chef from the main kitchen came down to our event to see what HE COULD TAKE BACK AND USE IN THE KITCHEN. Seriously? One - we purchased the food, two - what about food safety and your restaurant guests eating food that has been outside, and touched by 60 plus people. I wish I was making this up. I have gotten in touch with the event manager, who is aware, and said the owner would be getting in touch with us. Have followed up multiple times. Still has not and we are pushing about a month since the party took place. We have thrown many wonderful events in Central PA, but this place will charge you outrageous rates, not serve all the food your purchased, take food back into their restaurant from your event to serve to guests, and when you try to get in touch, they do not respond. There are many other wonderful venues locally, do not use this one. Run.

P.S the event staff were amazing. Tipped extra on top. Loved every single one of you. Ownership and...
