2025 Stopped again for coffee. Two staff at the rear of the counter talking to each other. They glanced at us and kept taking. Waited for 5 minutes, one finally started out way, but halfway to us, she stopped, turned get back to us, and continued to talk. We left. Sad to see the only thing that has changed since we stopped 2 years ago is... It got worse. How does this place stay open??
Only giving it a three because we're giving it the benefit of the doubt. First time there, the gentleman taking the orders seemed pretty lost. There was himself and one other worker and they were both apparently overwhelmed. My guess is he was either the owner or the manager and really had no idea how to make coffees. He had to keep referring to the cheat sheets on how to do so. His interaction with the customers leaves a lot to be desired. The London fog tea that I received was pretty flavorless until you got to the bottom which indicates it wasn't even stirred. Will give them another chance and hope it's better...
Read moreIt was.... meh. Service was okay, they didn't go out of the way to greet us or anything. Menu was ridiculously too large. Like seriously, I think Amazon sells fewer things. The flavor variety was excellent. The decor was nice though the seats sucked. Either hard plastic or ones in front of a gas fireplace that you sank into and were in no way comfortable. And that's where the good ended. The ice cream tasted "off" for all of my party. I've had store-bought that was better. The chocolate in the mint chip was so bitter that it got thrown away. We all had different flavors and we all said the same thing: old ice cream (or too much moisture when it was churned). All had ice crystals. None of it was what any of us would call "creamy." It's like they used lower percentage milk fat instead of heavy cream, which might explain why there was so much ice in the mixture. Might give them a try later in the year when I expect they'll be making it more regularly, but I'd have to think...
Read moreI live 5 mins away from here and my husband and I frequent Candy Mountain Creamery quite a bit because he is an ice cream lover. There are a lot of fun flavors to choose from as well as other goodies on the menu, including breakfast sandwiches, acai bowls and pastries. I have to say I love the coffee and affogatos. The servings are HUGE and generous, usually i order a small one and can't finish it. Plenty of parking and indoor outdoor seating. However, if I could give the staff and service 100 stars I would. One day in December during the holiday rush I met with a friend for coffee in their new expanded dining area, next to the fireplace. I forgot my purse on the chair and the staff promptly hid it behind the counter for me to come pick up. They are always really friendly and helpful, especially when recommending flavors because there as so many to choose from. If you are in the area, it is...
